So, just for self clarification, what world is this based on, because it seems like people know quite a bit about this world that isn’t explained in the comic itself?
Can anybody help here?
Apparently Brandon wrote a very, VERY similar story in novel form that this webcomic rides along the same universe but us not the exact same story.
Rather, Brandon wrote THIS story in noverl form (doesn’t take long to find it) and this is an expanded retelling. Brandon has stated that this retelling is not bound by the “original” (indeed, we’ve already had several differences).
Also, why do you see so many comments that show that we know wha’ts behind the scenes, yet it’s not discussed out in the open? Because Brandon DID ask of those of us who have read the novels not to spoil the everloving shit outta the webcomic, and since he asked nicely instead of being obnoxious about it, we’re complying. That’s why.
Which is very nice, because I have not read his novel and do not intend to, either.
It has been a while, but this bit seems to be either between chapters, or summed up in one sentence in the stories. As stated, the story has evolved somewhat.
I don’t know what we are allowed to say about the location of the stories. It does not involve the name “Brandon” or “Shane”. Some art is posted there as well.

My bio this is awesome I saw this thing through another site and I love it. I saw the first few pages and I thought it was just going to be this dumb hernia or something,but this is amazing. Can’t wait for more pages!;)
