A better plan:
Shadow disguises herself as a human girl and makes Him like her so Marcy backs off. Then she could “move” and have a “long-distance relationship” until she reveals herself as Shadow.
At least it’s just her hair. If she was more evil she might turn that girl into a real life “Dark Knight” Joker.
