Continuing my attempt at righting a blind friendly script:
#8 “A Better Mousetrap”
Panel 1:
Description: Shadow stands with her the back of her right and over her right eye. It is clear that she has been dazzled by the flash on the camera. Her eyes are closed.
Dialogue:
Shadow: *Errgh!!* You little… *brat*!
Panel 2:
Description: Tim is holding the camera in one hand and holding on to the emerging photo in the other.
Dialogue:
Tim: C’mon! *C’mon*!
Panel 3:
Description: Shadow has removed the hand and opened her eyes. She is still dazzled.
Dialogue: **Grrr**! *Nice* *try*… Now, hand over the *camera*, human!
Panel 4:
Description: The camera is now in Shadow’s hands. It’s clear that Tim has tossed it to her.
Dialogue:
Tim: Uhh…here! *Take* *it*!
Shadow: *–oof*!
Panel 5:
Description: Tim’s hand is clasping the blanket on his bed.
Dialogue:
Tim: Take *this*, *too*!
Panel 6:
Description: The blanket floats above Shadow’s head. Her eyes are looking at it.
No dialogue
Panel 7:
Description: Shadow is covered by the blanket. Tim is leaving the area.
Dialogue:
Shadow: *Ack*!
Tim: *Mom*!

Out of curiosity,how does shadow know what a camera is?
They have rudimentary training on safety and things to look out for. Humans have obviously tried to film them before!
Given what we later learn was part of Shadow’s initial “interest” in Tim, we now have an addition reason it took her awhile to get that blanket off.
