Of course the compliment would be 10 years late for that particular outfit. I suspect she has some even more interesting outfits now (though we haven’t seen much of her current wardrobe yet)

Yes, most in fact are darker toned. They are the more naturally designed to hunt in the dark than females who are mostly brighter skinned. There are rare accepting to the rule though! 😉

Now, Brandon, no one has said that Ruth is a monster “in disguise”. That may be the way she REALLY looks. LOL.
Of course, now that I think about it. It could be Dad that’s the monster and mom just knows where he came from, how to get there and is accepted there. Just a theory.
My theory is that there are a lot more monsters (that we haven’t met yet)
And that Ruth and Blackheart are old friends

Shadow: “W-wha?”
Lady Moonlight: “You can’t fool me, no one gets that dolled up to go out on rounds. What’s his name? Is he one of Lord Mortis’? I swear, all boys ever want is something to brag about.”
Well from the body language that Moonie doubtless picked up on, Tim aint the one bragging. And it would be more like “Why is my darkest angel glowing brighter than me?”
Hehe, that’d be pretty funny, actually!

Fertile dog/fox hybrids have been reported, and of course dog/wolf hybrids are almost commonplace.
Fertile female mules have existed, but are rare. They reportedly breed as if they were a mare.

I get the feeling that Shadow will take up on Lord Mortis’ offer for help sooner or later…
Lord Mortis seems like a pretty cool dude. Not really used to dealing with the li’l bedbugs, but he’s trying to make an effort.
He’s just rusty! He hasn’t had much to do with little girls since he was that age himself!
Well, we all know Termite is up to something, especially how he’s using the teenager with a crush on him to do his dirty work, so I predict that about this time next year (our time) she’ll be calling on Lord Mortis for help.
As for Moonlight, I’m sure her mindset is going like: “My sister (Blackheart) is back after all these years. The girl I raised as my own daughter (Shadow) is pulling my sister’s old tricks and seems unusually happy tonight. I know my sister fell in love with a human; is my darkest angel following that same path with my sister’s guidance? Should I intervene? Will I lose them both if I do? What will happen to the guild if I let them play out their games?” Being a High Mother, she has to not only think about those under her, but the overall status of the guild among the other guilds, her own “working romance” with Lord Mortis notwithstanding. I just hope she makes a choice that leads to something other than total disaster.
On another note: Halloween is next Monday. Will we see a Halloween pin-up of Shadow and/or Tim, maybe in the style of Army of Darkness (only with Shadow with the shotgun and chainsaw *_*)?

Army of Darkness is essentially the only “horror” movie I watch on Halloween, so it’s in my mind. (Being a Halloween baby, I quickly got tired of the whole “must watch scary movies” deal. Puts a damper on the celebrations.)
I usually watch Ghostbusters or Beetlejuice, mostly.

Mortis is awesome. Hes the normal “awkward dad”.
Was not expecting the light hearted teasing, but am very glad that it is that instead of machinations. Heres hoping Mortis remains one of the nice ones.
This whole page kind of reminds of a scene in an old new jedi order book where the boy ends up freaking out over how people tend to pick up on it even in the middle of escaping a collapsing space station.
