so is the guy using the red demon girl(i think her name was nightmare not sure) gonna switch targets and go for Shadow because of the implied interest between her and mortis?
No, he’s just wondering what that’s all about. It’s the second time he’s noticed something weird between them.
Nightmare and Terminus make the perfect evil couple. I almost don’t want anything to happen to them. Almost ;). But if anything I hope Nightmare is the one to double-cross him. Would be ironic to say the least
We shall see how the game plays out, I suppose.
Anyone else here think that Terminus and Nightmare are gonna end up dancing the Horizontal Monster Mash?

Well, I’d guess you’d know more than me; but, from what I’ve gathered so far, this is only the second time that Terminus has talked with Nightmare. However, she’s obviously interested in him. That said, in the brief amount of time I’ve known this character, he impresses me as a user.
They’ve been meeting in private for awhile. Keep in mind there was a small time jump from the previous events to Tim’s birthday, which is still the current night we are on.
Exactly. That may be what Nightmare meant by a very _rewarding_ method of teaching. And I’ll go for the obvious pun, and say that the first frame proves that Terminus has gotten some tail. ;P
Kinda inclined to go along with Shadow’s “what a weirdo” about Lord Mortis. What is he, fifty years or more older than her?

More like dungeons, but yes. Criminals are dealt with swiftly in Nox… keeps the population in line.
Maybe his isn’t interested in her in the way you think. Plot twists make any good story a great one.

Similar yes, but I don’t think it’s the same. Hers is clearly heart shaped, but I think his is more chevron shaped. It looks like the ends are pointy, not curved. Then again, compared to Terminus’ tail which his razor sharp corners, it looks pretty curved, so who knows.
So Terminus is getting interested in Shadow, which might led to him spying on her and finding her secret. If that is the case he will probably blackmail her or denounce her. No matter what happens I think we all agree to say this guy is trouble for Shadow and Tim, right?
I wouldn’t say he’s interested in Shadow, per se… more like he’s paying attention to what his superior is doing. Keeping tabs.
And there’s more than one reason to keep tabs on someone.

Whoa! Can’t believe we are going there. Characters we barely know already making their moves. I love the trill of suspense; always keeping us in the corner trying to figure out what will happen next. But as I said, I need more input to think of a set of good theories. Still I’m not dense, I can think of a few ideas but nothing anyone can easily point out. :3

Terminus with those stripes on his neck is looking very shark-like. I suspect that if they haven’t yet he and Red will soon be worshiping the horizontal gods.
Mortis is looking like he’s going to be a bit of goofy fellow. Honestly hoping it’s not an act; there are far too few genuinely nice folks in comics who aren’t the leads.
