I think you’ll find (eventually) that the sub-bed monsters are a different, more evolved, species thant hose which are still in their closets. Of course, threats to “punch” any that are seen may have some relevance to their reluctance to come out of the closet

I’m not at all clear why she thinks Mortis is being a weirdo. In the last page he established that he A: knew she was dating someone, and B: suspected it to be one of his students. He was just offering to look out for her if the guy took it too far. Letting her knew he wouldn’t tolerate harassment or abuse by one of his boys.
He’s being really awkward for a grown up, that’s all.
He’s probably not use to handling girls, since he’s been around boys for much longer
I found this comic one day looking for some new webcomics to read have it bookmarked eversince i like the story and does any of the sisterhood know their fathers and viceversa for the brotherhood for mothers
Most of them know their own parents, yes. Not everyone is a part of the guilds either, so not everyone’s mothers and fathers are separated apart from each other. Since Shadow is an orphan, she doesn’t really know who either of her parents are.
I thought you said she was left on the door step. That does not mean her parents are dead. Just saying….
Orphan doesn’t just mean her parents died. Someone can be an orphan even if their biological parents abandoned them and are still alive
