UhhmmmmO_o
Brandon you do realize you just admitted that there is a Monster called Ruthless and that she is Lady Blackheart………which only strengthens my Ruthi=Blackheart theory.
Curses, my evil plan of tricking you into revealing plot details prematurely has been foiled again.
And I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn’t for you meddling comic artist. And your talking dog (All comic artist have talking dogs, right?)
How did you do what you did to win?
Some trick you do?
Wish I knew how you do it to win—
I haven’t a clue.
How did you do what you did to win?
It’s making me stew.
If I knew how you do it to win,
I’d be using it too.
I know that you cheated pretty hard, Ooh-la-la,
Straight-and-narrow, but you blew it.
I suppose you think you’re on your guard,
But you will tell me how you can do it.
How did you do what you did to win?
It’s some trick you do.
Well, you won’t be better than me
When I’m through with you!

Perhaps, but that’s Mother’s hand in the last panel. I’m thinking that Nightmare is about to get scolded, severely. If for no other reason than Mother knows more about Shadow than she is willing to openly admit.
Now I gotta wonder 2 things-
1. Is she going to run her mouth off and get in even more trouble?
2. Will this interference only make her anger towards Shadow worse?
The glowing light behind Nightmare appears to be another decorative/functional lighting device similar to what is behind Shadow. But the sudden change of attitude in standing up to Nightmare (panel 3) means that Shadow was fairly certain in being able to get away with returning the antagonism of the older, and physically larger, Nightmare. Combine that with Shadow’s initial attempt to backpedal out of a confrontation (panel 1) leads me to surmise that, most likely during panel 2, that Mother Moonlight entered from behind Nightmare.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Nightmare gets thrown into a wall, because I think she let her ego overload her mouth, and her jealousy of Shadow!
We shall see!
Naw, stuff her in a closet. Shadow didnt seem to like that much 😉
ahhh sisters… ( i haz lotss ) an they DO fight like this..
was almost expecting ” Ruthless ” to step in..
Nah, she’s off being very mysterious. Or something.

I knew he was referring to Blackheart. 😉 I’ve confirmed nothing. Until I do. 😉

Sure, why not? XD

Well, I’m glad that Shadow is standing up to Nightmare now. Great art, as always.
Thank you!
Welp, someone just screwed up!
O SNAP!
Someone gonna get scoled !

I agree with you.
DENIED!!!
This is gonna get good!! 😀
Nope! It’s gonna be squashed. An adult is intervening (n panel 6) and Shady gets a moral victory.
Yeah I know
Now I gotta wonder 2 things-
1. Is she going to run her mouth off and get in even more trouble?
2. Will this interference only make her anger towards Shadow worse?
I don’t see 1) happening but 2) is a given.
Who’s that Poke….I mean Monster Girl? Is it Pikachu? Please tell me it’s Pikachu.
It’s Poke’ache’u!
Momma’s going to have to dish out a spanking or two
Something tells me that in panel 3 Shadow knew Mother Moonlight was standing there behind Nightmare. She’s smirking as she says it. 😉
I think that you’re right.
Will she get punished as well.
Well, that light glowing behind Nightmare it hard to miss. 😉

RIP Shadow
