#110 “Role Reversal”
And so the holidays have passed once more and The Monster Under the Bed is back for 2017, and celebrating Halloween?!
PATREON Throw me a dollar, maybe?

I have one question for you Brandon, but before I have to say I love you’r comic so far , the question : how are you not sick of posting only 1 page a week ? I mean, I am one of those people that when they start something I just have to finish it … But , quality over quantity . (Sorry for my bad English I am from Croatia)
I only have time for 1 a week, due to my job. :-\
If fix that if I could afford it >.<
Amazing btw keep up the good work.
In other words, you’re just doin’ what you can. Well! Doing what you can, is what gets us freeloaders what we want, so you have my support!
(Wait, did I say freeloaders? I meant Distant Dwelling Manifestations Of Vital Encouragement And Necessity. Yeah, that sounds better… I mean, more accurate!)
masterful. I’ll have to remember that one.
I know I’ve said this before, and it’s a bit of a long shot, but if this is a situation that could be changed by an amount of money, your fanbase might be willing to oblige… Okay, so we’re already definitely willing to oblige; but we might also be collectively able to as well.
Just sayin’. You wouldn’t be the first artist to get so popular as to be able to transition their day job over to being part time based on the financial viability of their artwork.
Hmmm… well, if I could conceivably (and reliably) receive $500+ an update, that’d certainly get me a lot closer to the ballpark of me even considering quitting my day job and still manage to eak out a comfortable living. I’d also be able to update twice a week without that job monopolizing all my time, and draining all my energy.
We’ll see. I’d certainly miss having paid benefits/coverage etc. from my job though.
I think he actually meant you should release less than one a week, if you read his post he says he admires your drive to keep providing. Keep up the amazing work though
I run a web comic and I’m lucky if I post one a week. It takes a lot of time and effort to think up plots, jokes and to draw everything.
It is nice to see I started up a little duscussion. And btw. I dont know how hard it is to make a comic so I really can’t rush you, ,and for you’r job, if you dont feel ready and can’t quit it thats fine, I will support you’r work over Patreon.
Pffff hahahahahahahahahahahahah *sigh*
I wonder if this title will be used in a ‘sexy’ scene.Just imagine,Shadow is getting ready for some action,Tim’s doing the same…and then….the next page says “Role Reversal”.
Hahahahhahah…uhhhh *sigh*,oh man what’s wrong with me? :)))))))))
Heh, that’s friggin adorable… I’d like to discuss some things privately with you Brandon, if it’s alright… I’ll message you on deviantart.
you’re not a assasin now,are you?
So what if he is maby he’s protecting Brandon from the templar! you will never have the apple!
Noooooo! Not the appleeeeee!!!
Keep that apple I’d rather have a Orange anyway. Watch out for ledges that aren’t there Parkor can only do so much.
Wow! The Captain Marvel T-shirt sure has become popular of late.
Sorry to pull you back to deviantart again, but I figured it was only polite to inform you that I responded to your response.
AAAAAAAAWWW He thinks he’s monster peoples. Those silly pet humans never know what there going to do next.
Brandon I got a hand it to you you keep the surprises coming. I know I’m a hater of horror films but you made the outfit funny for Tim.
Also and I hope you don’t take this wrong but I only just realized that Shadow and her race have a lot of “Gargoyles” feel to them. The clawed hands that flex like normal human hands (and also you can’t tell where hand ends and claw begins), The verity of skin tones and hair color, and the tails all remind me of Goliath and the Manhattan Clan from the old cartoon series.
It’s kind of awesome actually I don’t know if you ever watched the show but it certainly seems like to a very minor degree that it has influenced you on some level. Heh but I know one thing I always enjoy the series on both sides. Hope that one day you can have a comfortable living off this comic my friend. I hope it gets a paperback GN one day too. I know I’d buy it.
I do love Gargoyles (Probably the greatest 90’s kids show of them all, beside Batman: the Animated series) but I wasn’t really thinking specifically about it when I designed the monster characters… maybe some subconscious element worked it’s way in.
No, the greatest was Biker Mice from Mars. (At least in the WHAAA….?? title stakes.)
I’m sorry to do this to you again… It would probably be best to regularly check your deviantart to see if I respondresponded.
How about having Tim and
Shadow watch
Liar
Lair together.
I’m not even sure I’ve watched all of that one, actually. XD
She has to give him points for at least trying.
So I’ve caught up on the comic, and overall I love it. Very interesting concept, great art.
I only have one problem: the young age of the two main characters here kind of squicks me given the romantic tension they’re getting. I would have aged them at around thirteen or something, personally. At nine I was still warding off cooties with a special cheetah necklace, heh.
sorry kid better luck next time after all she is a pro at the scare game
Zero’s message in the live action 1975 The Ghostbusters would always blow up after it ended and is hidden in a different item in every episode.
dude,why are you so random?
need some attention?cause you got it.
Hello, I just started reading not to long ago but i love the story line of this comic
Thank you!
I wonder if Tim has ever seen Zinda the 2006 Bollywood remake of Oldboy.
I really doubt it, for some reason. Mostly, because I don’t think it’s 2006 yet in this timeline.
