This may actually be true, medical facilities in Mexico have extremely high success rates for treating most cancers, ironically(read deliberately) USA research stumbled upon the very thing, but threw it out because one man wanted to make excessive profit off it, since he couldent and was in a high ranking position he deemed it something along the lines of native herbal nonsense and ever since it hasent been looked at again, of course you can only believe so much, and while i can most certainly believe greed and corruption forestalling the cure for cancer, id like to believe in this day and age that if a cure actually existed, it couldent be kept hidden by public hospitals in mexico.
I’m pretty sure that 50% of world population don’t give a crap about cancer. You know, between starvation, illnesses, your children being kidnapped to become prostitutes or child soldiers, your house being bombed in the name of democracy and so on, they don’t have time for it, don’t you think?

Just to confirm, as I am notoriously bad with determining Age based on appearance, Nightmare and Terminus are ballpark 14-15, same as Tim and Shadow?
Love the Comic, so much that I hunted down MUTB and MOMM.
Tim and Shadow are younger.
But you might be right with Terminus and Nightmare.
Their age was never mentioned.
I put Nightmare at about 13-15, Terminus at 16-18.
IIRC, Tim just turned 9, and Shadow’s 6 months older. Midnight is the same age bracket, but I’m not sure if she’s slightly older or slightly younger than either Tim or Shade. Or was there a year or two between chapters I missed? Tim seems rather mature for 9, though still adorkable.
No. Tim is older than 9. The part where he is 9 was a flashback (kindof) and now he’s 14 or something. Tim has known of Shadow for quite a long time.
Actually, they’ve remained the same age throughout the flashbacks which is 12.
They originally were 9, but I’ve recently edited the comic to reflect a new (more realistic, less icky) age on our young heroes. Still young, but… more believable I think.
Next time anyone reads through the story, they will be 11 and 12 (and then both 12 after Tim’s birthday.)

I’m not sure which is my favourite, though I do know which is my least favourite and that is page #15. Looking back, it looks very bizarre to me now, even taking into account the fact that I was still learning to draw the characters well at that point.
Haha yeah i just looked back a #15 and it looks like when in an anime they go low budget for a minute lol. But shadow still looked cute.
maybe the cure is for aging…so they can stay alive for ever and being able to scare forever thus having the highest score endlessly?
