Woah woah. WOAH now. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. The art is pretty neat and the story’s fun, but it most definitely hasn’t reached Girl Genius tiers yet (sorry, Brandon).
I mean, starting with the art. Clearly not up to GG’s level especially when you consider various… *aherm* shortcuts that are taken with some of the backgrounds. The story also doesn’t have the same level of epicness as with GG’s (but that may be a byproduct of being a younger comic with less strips).
And… what is Fairies vs. Tentacles…? I’m really hoping I don’t get red-flagged when I Google that, lol.
Honestly, I don’t even really know what Girl Genius is about. Never read it or even looked at it really. I’ve seen it in the list over at Topwebcomics though.
Love Shadow’s costume! It looks like a mix between my costume last year and the one I’m planning on doing this year.
