Last panel shadow is absolutely adorable, there is no telling me otherwise.

i love the smile of tim’s mother, it say all i have in mind about her, that sooo satisfying “shadow’s smiley
Its interesting that Tim appears to be much more frightened of Shadow in her “human” form than in her monster form. Tim did say that he was afraid of girls, so it s possible that she didn’t trigger that fear in her normal state (because she was so interesting/cool) but does as a “human”.
That coupled with the fact she is now openly interacting with his parents could lead to profound complications later on.
So still a little fuzzy on just what Shadow is. I know she is a creature that feeds on fear. And judging from the “sniff” in the fourth panel, Tim is about to serve a smorgasbord. But how does that process work. Is it an intangible sense or can it take on a physical means? And for that matter, the person being fed on, is there a detriment? I kinda doubt that one seeing his mom is right there and I doubt she would allow any harm to come to him, unless the mom being Lady Blackheart being a misdirection and she actually isn’t.
Welcome back Brandon. I understand about real life issues, but I’ve really been wanting to see this strip.
Hopefully the disguise holds up to photography, it could be a problem if the pic reveals her identity.

with the look on the mothers face my suspicion that she is this woman who helped shadow disguise herself is growing
Maybe she’s just proud that her boy somehow managed to attract such a little cutie!
And knows that there’s no way that he can avoid the photo now.

Haha, yes, I’ve actually found a couple of different translations lately! I just hope they are fairly accurate, as I can’t actually read them! XD
As Russian (obviously) I can say it’s 80% accurate. So no worries for that translation)

This really is a terrific story, well constructed and a lot of fun. IMHO would make a great movie… so far. Keep up the superior work. (Hope your family problem worked out OK… it would be a shame to see this tale CURtailed!)
