I’m thinking that her arms (and therefore hands AND claws) are best poised to deliver a far more painful and “personal” clawing, if she wants him to back off.

Now I’m a bit curious as to what his plan will be if Nightmare’s aegis doenst open the door. Seducing Shadow wont work for a multitude of reasons, and so far nobody but Midnight and Lady “probably is his mother” is aware of Tim.

Bear in mind, Shadow is probably quite a bit younger than Nightmare and Terminus, and such intimate acts might be a little common amongst older individuals, but less so among younger individuals due to some sort of ‘sheltering’ from the older generations so they don’t get distracted by things until their hormones start working up.
… Yeah even more sure that this guy’s a sleazeball now.

Lighting is a bit different since it’s very low light, but otherwise the line work is the same. *shrug* Gotta spice it up somehow, or else it’s just flat.

Calm down. Christ, you’re like me back when I started high school. You’re trying too hard to be funny. All caps and onomatopoeia of censoring curse words isn’t funny, it’s childish.
Yeah, like how the heck does he knows what a kiss is?, when Shadow gave the idea such thing doesn’t exist in her world… or at least not with her guild.
So, Terminus,
A. Manipulative.
B. Young and uncouth.
C. Likely seeking forbidden power, knowledge or mystical objects.
D. Demonstrating some knowledge of human emotional manipulation, via hugging and kissing.
E. Clearly not above using somebody for his own base gains.
So, it would seam that Shadow isn’t the only one that is mixing with humans.
Although Terminus is clearly up to something bad, as the door would have been sealed and knowledge of it hidden for a reason.
Poor Nightmare, I can see that her world is about to become one, but at least she has learned to enjoy kiss.
For now, anyway.
Going with the theme of monsters and Halloween, I’d say Samhain is what’s behind the door.

it would be funny if they opened the sealed doors and the monstrosity known as The Kraken appeared out of the doors and ate the green pervert but spared nightmare instead of eating her as well. Serves him right for kissing Nightmare like that. xD
Either Terminus is that desperate to get with nightmare, or he’s trying to steal her mark while she’s distracted by the kiss. If it works than he’s slyer than I gave him credit for.
I find myself wanting to agree with the “distract her and steal it” trick, except for the expression on his face in the 3rd panel, which Nightmare can’t see. He wouldn’t need to fake that expression if she couldn’t see it, which implies the expression is genuine. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
The expression could just be because he’s at the door he wants to open, but is without her, he can’t.
He certainly went about it wrong, in attempting to open it by requesting she hand him her Aegis. Why couldn’t he have simply said something like, “Put your Aegis here, and I’ll put mine there, and then you’ll see!” ? (answer: different story-line and character development, of course!)
So i guess in the next page, Nightmare gonna slap him, call him a freak and say something like “what the hell was that ? You disgust me”. Terminus probably forgot that kissing is a human thing
Is it just me or is Nightmare’s face looking a little more monstrous than usual in the third panel there?
Like, she has no chin in that panel. Just a wide, very toothy mouth, and her face looks a little more stretched as if she just aged five years into adulthood or something. I’m not used to no-chin mouths in this comic, so I think that’s what has everyone so thrown off.

Actually, behind the door are the elder gods. i always thought this story was a little Lovecraftian.
