I don’t like “Stuff of nighmares” shadow.
I mean jeez, at this point she looks like she’ll murder craig.
I kind of prefer her this way, myself. Then again, I also preferred Midna as an imp.
She gathers fear. If she looked all cute and sweet all the time, no one would fear her and she would not get what she needs.

It’s not a joke. Get your mind out of the gutter (to leave room for ours). I mas saying this literally – everyone gets centered with the “bed” part (apparently you included) 😉 and forgets the “monster” part. Well, she just gave us a reminder.
Well, “under” the bed.
Her performance otherwise is open to speculation, but it’s worth noting that she and Tim are an intimate couple eight years in their future. Something must be OK.
I’m a little concerned about her next inspection. Her fear reading is going to be … high.

From Tims reaction, I gather this is the first time he sees her in full monster mode. As others have commented fear is like a drug to her; But Tim is there to calm her down when needed!
If fear is like a drug how’s it taken? Between the toes? Inhalation? Ingestion? Put in an eyedropper with water and dripped into the eyes? I wonder if there is a rehab for fear-abusers.
Cant believe this just occurred to me but, does Shadows illusion spell change her voice? Do Noxians have some kind of accent that would need masking to pass as human?
Im just noticing reading through the comments that some peeps think shadow is lifting craig off of the ground. However, compairing his size to that of Tim and shadows size compared to Tim. I would say that craig is collapsing in fear and that shadow is just stoping him from falling.
Tim’s probably thinking right about now – “I am SO glad Shadow didn’t do this the first time we met.”
She tried, but he grabbed her wrists, overpowered her, and then tickled her into submission.
How did he overpower her then, yet she is able to lift this guy with one hand?

Indeed, it’s been slightly implied that she has liked Tim in some weird unspoken way since before they ever officially ‘met’. Any antagonism on her part was mostly due to the photo being taken. If it didn’t happen that way, she may have been less hostile.
I imagine she was visiting him for awhile and watching him sleep (and taking mementos) before he ever caught on.
You can’t see her other hand, but she is using both. Plus, Craig may be taller, but he looks lanky. He probably only weighs 160 or 170 pounds.
