1. Does it require a willing sacrifice?
2. Does it require something like a few drops of blood or something symbolic? It means that you have to have something close to the right amount.
3. Does it require you do something else with it (eg dance around it)?
YESSSS OPEN THAT DOOR. I MUST SEE THIS. Finally some insight into the antagonist motivation. nightmare looks like a little cute lamb to the slaughter but hopefully it needs a little blood from both of them.
Ok, Nightmare, for your own good, take the knife. Terminus looks desperate and does’t considre you part of the further plan. You might litteraly get stabbed in the back.
Welp, we know how ends (because how this comic starts) but, i’m pretty sure this is a good element of “conflict”. There isn’t a story without it, after all.
How will they solve it? That’s why at the edge of my seat, waiting for it ^_^
So the plan for solving “the greatest problem of our time” involves monkeying with “the engine that holds this world together”? I take it that the Nox doesn’t have an equivalent of Murphy’s law?
I’m not so sure its a matter of intentions, I’m thinking of unintended consequences. I’m pretty sure that Terminus doesn’t intend to do something that causes the Nox to be torn apart. That doesn’t mean that he wouldn’t unintentionally imperil his own world
Just so you know, the original story doesn’t seem to be useful anymore. He may have taken parts from the story, but it doesn’t match anymore. I don’t remember any doors, or an engine in the original story. It’s a long story, I don’t feel like reading it again.
The knife in the story was something they already had, not a recently found object. Shadow did not get the book for a long time, if ever.
You may as well just wait for the weekly graphic story updates. The written story is interesting, but not a transcript anymore.
Al contrario, Brandon, let’s talk about it. And how amusing is to troll those who have read it and expect the comic to follow it by not doing so. Just to, moments later, troll those who expect comic NOT to follow it, by actually following it. AH, the posibilities…
I have three theories:
1. Does it require a willing sacrifice?
2. Does it require something like a few drops of blood or something symbolic? It means that you have to have something close to the right amount.
3. Does it require you do something else with it (eg dance around it)?
A bit of blood from both species, maybe.
Or a bit of blood from both of them? Maybe they have to slash their own hand?
C’mon…. You can obtain a bit of blood just by poking a knife-tip into a pinky finger.

Missing the line art from the last page?
For all the sex fans, looks like penetration is approaching.
Ooh. Good one. LOL.
Sooner than you think!
Not with this comic’s update schedule :p
(I keed! I keed!)
THE DOOR DEMANDS A BLOOD SACRIFICE!
I do not like where this is going
No i do not
Oh look, a knife inside a weird, possibly demonic, looking door. I doubt anything bad can happen…
Nope, nothing sinister.
Ok, Nightmare, for your own good, take the knife. Terminus looks desperate and does’t considre you part of the further plan. You might litteraly get stabbed in the back.
Nah, she’s probably safe. I think. Where else is going to get such a clearly mouldable acolyte?
I mean he did show intrest in Shaow and he doesn’t know of Tim so…
Remembering “Tales of Innocence”. This won’t end nicely…
Perhaps not, but I’m sure he’ll not act rashly. Pretty sure. Mostly sure.

Well, if it’s from the engine that holds the world together…and it gives him (or them) a knife…cutting something is suggested.
Perhaps it does!
So long as it’s some*thing* and not some*one*…

I’m sure it does, but he’s only got the best intentions for everybody, I swear!

Let us not speak of that old thing.
Meh fine, but I still enjoy reading it.
Could I get a link to it please?
I’m actually quite interested in reading it now.

You know what they say – “When life/doors gives you a knife; start stabbing/slashing”
Well I sure am late to the murder prediction party.
I have no idea what this is all about.
