First-time reader catching the comic from a porn site repost, of all things. Go to find some quick fap material, wind up spending a few hours reading a delightful little gem of a comic a couple times over to assuage that “DAMN the backlog’s dry…” sensation. Ticks all the right boxes, makes me wish demon girls were a thing all over again. Forgot the fapping altogether, this was such a better use of my weekend time.

From what I’ve gathered skimming the comments/reading up elsewhere (i.e. TVTropes), finding the original text story yourself is sort of a rite of passage. I do believe Brandon prefers for people to read the comic, not the original story. Being a writer myself, I can totally understand somebody strongly preferring their current work to older stuff.
You’re not the only one who’s curious. I too would love to read the original.
It’s not that hard to find if you REALLY want to find it.
Apparently it is.. Google only had 10 pages of results, Yahoo had 2, Bing kept giving me completely unrelated pages on health and sports…..
I tried looking up ‘the monster under the bed story’ on Google and it was the first result. A little search engine trick is to ad ” marks around your search. It cuts through the crap and ONLY finds those words.
Must be because I’m using the Australian Google… none of the links on the pages led me to it..
It did however reveal to me your Deviant Art page and Hentai Foundry user page (I never go looking for Hentai so I’m uncertain whether or not to look through it…)
Hopefully one of these two discoveries has a link buried within it somewhere….

I did not search for the old story, mind you.
But from what I gathered in the comments, considering the content of the story (also seeing some of the content here) and the place where to find the original story, you might want to turn off your search angines child protection (iirc, yahoo, for instance, has it automatically on), so that you can find “mature” content.
To give you a clue, try to find a foundry.
It demands blood….
Now, is it the blood of a virgin, a human or a monster?
It is a bit difficult to read, but that “GRIND” sound when the knife emerges might be a clue. Could the door-mechanism be failing? Could some previous person trying to open these doors have jammed the knife into the crack, in frustration? Stay tuned, folks!
