Several people have suggested that Shadow will either “write something embarrassing on his face” or commit a “jump scare”.
Neither of these is a pleasant, friendly (or loving) action and is more likely to irritate or infuriate Tim than to express tender feelings toward him. It would completely destroy any developing sense of trust.
If it happened to me, I would fill the void “under the bed” with bags of cement, have nothing more to do with any girl who did it and get on with a life free from anybody who’d take advantage of my sleeping vulnerability.
It’s JUST like the multiple rapes committed on a drunk girl at a party. It would certainly end any chance of a future relationship.
