So random question.. What are noxian’s clothes made out of? Do they have their own form of animals and plants?
I saw a comment in a much-earlier page-comment a possible answer to that question. Nox folk mostly steal human stuff. They might rework some of it (like taking clothing apart at the seams and sewing new seams to better-fit their forms). They obviously make (or have made) some things (like the Aegis), but so far in the story a great deal of their society’s infrastructure has yet to be revealed.
Their robes are made of Ghost Silk. I actually made that up a long time ago, but haven’t actually brought it up in-continuity yet. It’s very fine, yet durable, and wafts imperceptibly in the wind, giving off a slightly spooky vibe. They also pilfer human clothing they find on the floor by beds if they take a fancy to it. Mostly night-clothes and lingerie (!) thus, why most of their clothes look like little nighties and things.
And the source of Ghost Silk is … Ghost Spiders? Ghost Caterpillars?
Is there a plant form say… Toadstool Cotton? (tough, long-wearing, easier to harvest)
No synthetics? a cottage industry of boiling cauldrons with Component A and Component B leading to a whole new industry of explosives and lachrymal gas weaponry?
To change topic – Perhaps a fashion show where the BedBugs (or their older sisters) display the latest lingerie and nightwear acquisitions?

Duh. Ghost clothing retailers, dude. Mainly Ghost Topic, G&L Clothing (the G is from Ghost, obviously), Ghost Brothers, Ghosty Hilfiger, Laghost, GHOST?, Ghosty Lingerie, etc…

Probably (s)he doesn’t approve of nightwear and/or lingerie being left on the floor by the bed instead of being starched and meticulously folded away in a drawer.

I doubt that (s)he recognises those moments when all that matters in the heat of passion is to get those nightclothes or lingerie OFF and who cares at that moment whether they fall on the floor, drape over furniture or even stick to the wall.

Well, the sock fetish is peculiarly Shadow’s own, private, personal fetish.
Nobody else has (as far as we know) a collection like hers [see page 72] and most of these seem to be Tim’s anyway.
His have the most alluring scent for Shadow, it appears.
Question about “ghost silk” you said Noxian clothing is made of – is it bullet- or stab-resistant?
I ask because with their habit of popping into people’s bedrooms, sooner or later they’re likely to encounter someone who will respond with lethal force to the intruder.
No, it’s probably not bullet proof. As bullet proof as silk pyjamas can be.
And yet, some of the most effective personal body protection (used by USAAF crew 1944-45) was multilayer silk flak jackets.
Good against rifle-calibre shots, not much use against 25-40 mm cannon fire, though.
Stabbing or high-velocity shell fragments, not so much.
Well this one looks good, hypnotizing him when he was already ready to fall asleep anyway. If I had to guess what will happen next, I’d guess that she is going to use that book of hers again. Maybe even TRANSFORM his look so that she can take him home looking like one of them. I wonder how he would look with the dark skin and tail. *hmms* He might have more than one girl liking him (tho I wouldn’t be surprised if her bff took a interest. Lol!) After all putting him to sleep just makes it easier to keep her book and transformation secret.

Sorry to hear that Xander, I lost a friend at a young age and things certainly aren’t fair. I won’t pretend to know what you are feeling. But, you might not have picked up on it or intended it, though you were lashing out at them and they just let the conversation end as to not bring negativity around. I hope what of life you got to experience has been a joy and I hope you have a lot of positivity in your life with those close around you. Live it to the fullest, don’t waste your time talking with people on the internet who don’t want to entertain your ideals. Just move on and keep chasing the important tasks that fulfill your needs in life.
