No worries Pete.I was you when this comic came round the 87th page,and i was also complaining.But if you wait enoguh you get used with the constant interruptions(I’m not counting family problems,those are fair reasons) and eventually you will have a black hole inside that eats anything it touches ,that only grows when the update doesn’t drop : ^) .Just stop complaining and join us.
I have been pretty damned consistent since Chapter 4 began, and I still get these passive/aggressive whiny comments when I take an extra week to work on a page.

You don’t understand dude ,i never liked comic books ,but this one(at least to me) was special ,idk what it was but i was instantly glued to it.I…guess i watch it cause i dont find happines in many thing about my life ,but this does ,so please dont talk if you dont know ;i was supportive when i first came,always trying to find a way to compliment Brandon’s work(not that it would matter much,or diferent from other people) ,it felt like i had to ,bcz it was making me happy.(geez everything that i say sounds wrong,negative,but i cant phrase otherwise,at least not now)
While your little empowerment speech is cute ,you must be thinking that i feel above Brandon,that i pull the strings or some shit ,what you dont know is that im trying to stay away from such thoughts ,so i wouldn’t loose myself in the insanity of such a mindset.Also this ‘self-appointed guardians of timming stuff’ struck me odd ,fans(yes i’m not the only one) want to be told the truth when sth is presented ,the placard for an example ,and many have suggested to Brandon to change it to sth else ,like ‘almost every sunday ‘or something ,you got my message wrong,or it was my phrasing ,but worry not fellow individual ,my world is not made of sunshine and rainbows either.Also ,what’s wrong with being moral?You do realise that morality plays a big part in our society ,right?Including laws such as dont steal or dont kill ,cuz we find it Immoral ,so yes i am a moral individual.I want to respect and be respected,because that’s the moral way of things.If you dont like morality,go in the jungle ,there is no morality there.

Plus Brandon, I see you’re getting defensive so allow me to try to explain myself (briefly). What I am saying is that in the past you used to make them at the time you set (sunday) yet you were VERY consistent (literally every sunday, from the day i ‘joined’).
Then family problems came but you know, not counting those, fair reasons (plus the hand problem you had, btw hope no problems have accured since). But lately you want a lot of breaks and to me it comes out as you being a little lazy. You have all the rights too take breaks, but they were very consistent lately. What I’m saying is that you seem to have lost a small part of your passion to make these at their time. Don’t get mad but please, fix your placard, make it suggestive instead of assuring us that sunday is the day.
No, you see, the problem is the pages have gotten a lot more complex. Go back and look at the beginning and look at the pages now; It’s a bit more complex now and I need more time per page.
The breaks are to PREVENT extra stress and get ahead of the curve. I’ve been working on the comic this whole weekend, you know?

Indeed i have watched the first pages,and i’ve noticed the complexity slowly rising,i just said that at the time i joined ,when the pages were more complex than at the beggining ,they were still updated reguraly,i do not want you to be stressed out(wish we could turn back time[…]) since i appreciate your work a lot,although through my ‘critisism’ it might sound like i dont take that into considiration,but i do ,i’m just pointing out sth i have seen.Maybe i’m wrong and i’m not ashemed to admit it ,but if im thinking right there is more weight on your shoulders than before ,thus you needing more breaks then around page 90.And if that’s the thing and you just dont wanna tell us cuz its personal that’s fine,but dont put all the weight on the evolution of your skill of drawing ,just say you have other things preventing you from putting as much time in the comic as before and im sure people(incuding me btw) would understand.I just want to see where this comic goes and as a fan,as well as a human,i am worried about you(a little).So sorry if I offended you in any way,shape or form ,but…I guess i miss the past…when things were a bit more simple and i could enjoy the thought of a page coming out.But regardless,just as before i am waiting and dont worry,i understand the concept that complaining wont do any good,that’s why im trying to be neutral in this type of …’scenarios’.

Someone raised a good question I remembered about if Ruth was Tim’s real mother or if she was like a stepmom and whether noxians and humans could make babies together, is there any truth to that?

Well I started a few weeks ago and binge read up to current in a day. All I can say is ignore the negatives and take away this positive from those griping about an update. Your story and art are that good that people really want to see the next page. That is a good thing, as for them complaining about something they get for free you can tell them to bugger off. lol
NO. You get to that f——-g desk and you crap out a beautiful, perfect next page right tHIS INSTANT!
Take all the time you need, man. Your art is important to us, and art takes time. Besides, the suspense makes it even better. <3

I thought part of the reason you took that long break [Post-Ch3 and Pre-Ch4] was so you could get ahead of the game a bit, already making pages a few past the ones you’ve already posted.
You SUUUUURE everything’s OK on your side, Brandon? Your arm’s all right? Life isn’t beating you up again? No one’s trying to kill you? 😛
That was part of it, but I didn’t get nearly as much done as I was hoping. It was mostly to let my hand recover from (what I assume) was a bad case of muscle strain. It’s fine now. Then of course, my tablet broke.
I purposely take these breaks to play catch up so I don’t get too stressed constantly being at the end of an update tether. You see, since I skipped this update, I’ll have plenty of extra time to finish it up during the week, and have it fully completed by next weekend; then, I can use next weekend to work on the NEXT page, and so on and so forth, until it catches up with me again and I take another break.
It’s MUCH less stressful on me, considering I still only consider this a hobby.
Oh, life has been good to me, my ‘family troubles’ from last year was a death in the family that directly affected my living situation, and I ended up moving into another situation that was pretty ‘distracting’ and it was really hard to focus on my comic due to being in said situation. Things have levelled out now in that regard… so… yeah.

Of course I’d consider it, but I have not looked into it yet.
that’d be interesting considering it would have gone from print to comic then back to print. It would just be cool from like a mental development stand point to see how this story would evolve and change after 3 telling’s of it.
Have been waiting for an excuse to say this. At this point, the print version does not seem to be of much use to predict the comic. So you aren’t missing much.
It’s still a good read, you just have to find it. He doesn’t use the same name for the story.
I suspect that the comic is essentially between the lines of the print version. The entire Halloween bit was one sentence.
So the print version takes us waaay into the future of the comic version.
Oh, we’re definitely beginning Chapter 2 of the original story now. It’s just… very different!
