I can’t decide if the bit about being a model was a serious offer of employment or just being polite. Whichever it was Vice Admiral Ruthless is not happy about it, and that means that Thomas will be very unhappy soon.
I am thinking that Nox should have some way of detecting who is in a room before they emerge from under a bed, otherwise we would all know about them. So Shadow should be able to detect that Tim is not alone; however, she may have got less cautious about entering Tim’s room.
They can recognize different scents so yes she should be capable of telling if he is alone or not.
