Oh boy I smell a storm a brewing
Obviously, poor Shadow, damn you Brandon for the feels!
At the same time, poor Tim. I mean, kind of a hard spot to be in. He can’t really say, “I have a girlfriend.” as she will want to know who. I suppose could introduce in her magic’ky human form? Though we don’t know if she even still has that book. Can’t say it’s someone at the school, can’t say it’s online (let much teasing ensue). He also can’t really say, sorry not interested. She’s the popular cheerleader, turn her down and your school life becomes hell (not to mention, could only be turning her down because gay and highschool kids are the worst). And on top of everything else, we all saw the WTF Goldfish face from the last page, he is probably in pure panic mode and not thinking very clearly, if at all. Deer in headlights mode.
I do not envy either of them this situation. Hopefully they resolve it without it dragging on too long.

Isn’t “Yeah no I am just not into you.” an option? He doesn’t need to say he has a girlfriend, he just has to say he has no interest in her.
Polite reminder, he only has to say “no, I think of you as a friend”. The line used by countless females all along History. Works BOTH directions.

Well Midnight now has two targets to go after to avenge Shadow’s broken heart. Kudos to Tim for thinking with his head instead of his “head”, although something tells me Momma Ruthless is going to be giving him “The Talk” sometime soon…

Ummm ok I might be alone here but isn’t Shadow kinda overreacting here a bit ? I mean if she heard everything she knows it’s Marcy making a move on Tim and not the other way around. Tim doesn’t look or sound all that interested in Marcy. More like he doesn’t wanna hurt her feelings, he specifically said he wants to talk before things go further. Would have thought Shadow would have picked up on that. If Shadow had got there and the bed was creaking and thumping and Tim eas moaning about how much he loves Marcy then sure I can see Shadow crying her eyes out.

Man when I saw this page i feel bad for shadow she deserves much more better love life than that man if midnight see shadow crying on the way back it’s either she will try to cheer up shadow or try to explain her feelings to shadow or try to reply to Marcy by threaten her that she’ll kill her if she comes back if that happens then it’s her fault for put a move on Tim and hurt shadows feelings plus I hope that things will get better for shadow like if I was in this comic i can promise her that like I’ll make sure that Marcy weaver will never come to Tim again if you know what I mean right Brandon
Slow that revenge train down a sec. Tim hasn’t shown any sign of being interested in this new girl, she’s the one coming on to him, and look at his responses – it looks like he’s trying to find a way to reject her without making a scene. Guys like you are the reason a woman can point at a man in the street, say something like, “He called me a whore!” and get him beat up on the spot.

2: What has she done wrong? She has no idea that Tim has been hanging out with a monster for years now. Heck, even Tim doesn’t seem to know that Shadow has decided they’re an item yet.

I see. All those congratulation comments gone.
I get the feeling this won’t be resolved anytime soon, the way things are looking we won’t see the happy conclusion we’re waiting for until the end of the chapter.
