Oh my god, the cliche route… I was hoping it would not come to this because there were some plot points who were subverted and it was good… But this…Nooo, it’s too cliche ! 🙁
Well, we already know that it will have a good ending and let’s see if she’s just going to rip his clothes and jump on him instead of the cliche route : “I hate you because of what you said but I still love you, etc.” and others cliche scenes before they get together.
That’s the danger of showing too many things that happen in the future early on. Most of the tension is lost right away.

I’m just a sucker for these kinds of things, anime does these things where two people love each other and it takes forever for them to just be together so you’re just clawing your eyes out hoping they finally will and when they do you’re so happy for them. Plus I know it’s necessary for stories but I hate conflicts and waiting for them to resolve, it’s pure torture lol

For that there is google, to search. I recommend that you hope it will be more fun. The original is all text (as expected).
But keep in mind, that the story will be/is already changing from the original, so maybe some stuff will be/is happening that even the readers don’t know about. That’s what Brandon already told us when the comic started!

There is a significant change as early as page 2. In the story — I forget whether he keeps it, or gives it to her, but it in’t cut up.

-.- her insides could be lined with razor sharp teeth, I doubt they have discussed that particular area of noxian anatomy and it is a very real concern for any man seeking a sexual relationship. Aside from that there are clearly rules about that type of relationship otherwise there wouldn’t be a problem with Ruth and Tim’s dad being together. They also wouldn’t be hiding it from Timothy even though they know Shadow is a noxian.

Under a different name, Brandon told this story in a six-part series. That story was changed for this graphic version. One change is that Ruthless Blackheart wasn’t introduced until MUCH later in the story. Another was that the Noxians (or at least the females) had wings.
I’m not going to mention that name or whether those stories still exist.
Ruth’s already confirmed as Ruthless Blackheart in this version.
Aaaaand that’s why I hate ongoing comics. They’ve always end in cliffhangers for some time – in this case – for a week (or more).
Personally I don’t mind ‘cliches’ and frankly I’m more interested in how (and/or whether) Tim and Shadow find out his mother’s real identity, which I guessed the moment Lady Blackheart appeared ^_^
