I’m gonna hate the next few pages until they resolve this issue soon.
I saw it coming the second the other Noxian had a thought of breaking them up. I would’ve tried keeping them together during this whole storyline, but… well… I’m not the one writing the story.
All I can say is that, again, I hope this issue gets resolved very soon.

I can already tell Tim is going to end up looking like an asshole the moment he opens his mouth…
I almost expect this comic to reference Teen Wolf with a scene where Tim turns into a Nightcrawler out of the blue because he’s a half-breed during puberty obviously.
If Tim says something about “You’re not a human, it’s unnatural.” It’s going to end up ironic, yet satisfying hypocricy on the surface.
And his mother comes in in her “lion suit” with Shadow and says: “We need to have a talk.”
I’m calling it, who wants to bet?!
I don’t think it will happen, but that does sound like a delicious and refreshing piece of irony.

True that Ruth does have a way with words… I am thinking a second Reseaon it is interesting is, she can talk to shadow when she gets back on Nox, and Tim’s dad can give his son some really importent words while Ruth does the same on the other side!
plot twist, i bet instead of saying human, like the obvious cliche bait trap yall fell for, tim will say “scary.” tim will once again reveal like he did at the beginning of the comic that he *isnt* scared of shadow, but he is scared of regular human girls. its hard to say how shadow will react to that. she could get mad , or his unexpected answer might make her freeze in her tracks.
(but odds are tho, that he will fall for the generic cliche and say human, and thats how he gets those 3 lovely markings on his right shoulder from page 3)
I heard that the plot for the web comic comes from two original stories you wrote a few years back. I actually read them both and I really enjoyed them but it got me thinking. You said you weren’t going to totally stick to the original story when you developed the web comic but how far do you plan to go with it? Like is there a chance we will see the monster on my mind as a web comic as well?
Let’s just say; I’ve got a plan for that scenario, should it arise.

Tim : We just can’t open a bakery together!
Tim : You’re not even a proficient baker! … and you eat all the sweets!

What it he simply meant to say she isn’t his type.
Or that she’s not there half the time.
Or how about :
Tim : You’re not treating me like a partner, but some kinda cuddle toy and snack machine!
Shadow : !
Tim : When was the last time you stole one of my socks? You havent for weeks! You’re not the only one with needs shadow! I have needs to! …. and a huge load of socks that you need to take with you if you want to prove I’m more than just a snuggle cookie!
Considering he was going to be punished if more of his socks went missing, I doubt he would say that.
Though I could see him saying that she isn’t really showing real interest in him (though considering she was eager to kiss him kinda makes that unlikely).

Tim : “If I wasn’t the one to ask you out first, that wouldn’t start a good dynamic for the beginning of our relationship” :b
Besides takin the next step in a relationship because someone is jealoua is never a good thing. Bad Shadow!
If Tim says that, then their needs to be a cameo of an ICP cd or juggalo poster on a wall some where ^_^

She’s more human than a lot of people I know of. she’s caring, kind, sweet, beautiful, courageous, everything a human should reach for.

Those things are not what makes someone human. In fact according to the bible those are qualities of God not Man. The bible says that Man’s natural inclination it to do evil.
Use more reliable sources.
Campfire tales of pre-civilised nomads, later modified by ranks of priests, each with their own agenda, are not the most accurate text of human (or near-human) psychology.
Even Freud, Reich or Nietsche show better insight and THEY all had an agenda, too.

So Brandon I read the original, did Tim’s parents tell him the truth? Because that is a viable reason for him rejecting her.
Also how long is smell supposed to last because Shadow has had those socks for at least 5 years now.
They probably don’t smell anymore, they are just mementos of the past.
I’m new here and I know Tim is gonna say not human but the thing that’s on my mind is how long this comic is gonna take to finish it’s been like what 5 YEARS i think and it’s probably gonna take 30 or 50 days to make 5 comics because it’s like 1 page every ten days or maybe just a 3D animation about it ohh wait that might take longer but DAM DUDE 🙁😭🤬 this is gonna take so long😑😞

It’s an annoying virtue but yes. And Brandon is worth the wait. I’m not upset tho because it just means I’ll be able to show my kids an ongoing Comic in 10 years when I have them alongside One Piece xD
I’ll probably go to a retirement home before this comic is finished
