Perhaps making a connection between harmless/ruthless & sweetheart/blackheart.
I am one of those who follow the comic since it began and since then I began to clarify any questions I had, but not others such as: How did Tim’s parents meet? If they reserved a part to explain it in detail it would be great
since blackheart wants to keep the secret and use glamour all the time even in the bed when they are all alone, i think they didn’t meet like our protagonists… probably blackheart came to our world after she was banished and fell in love with a human, or maybe it’s something more sinister (a blackhert’s experiment related to the weird door in the catacombs… maybe it needs a hybrid to work and she seduced a human to make one but later she changed her mind?)
It’s my understanding that part of why that glamour is kept up even in bed is that little boys may be somewhat prone to nightmares quite separate from any monsters who may or may not be under their beds. And at least once, a particular little boy sought refuge from his nightmare in bed with someone he thought was in some kind of a lion costume…
It’s like a light switch, you can turn it on and off and it stays consistently in whichever state. Shadow’s spell fluctuates during Halloween because she sucks at magic, having only just attempted it.
I thought it was because of Tim.
Yes, the proximity of Tim affects Shadow’s imperfect, unpractised control over her spell.
Now, what does that tell you?
A lot of people are thinking this is foreshadowing for Midnight being in danger, but I think it’s just them being good friends.

I’m just guessing, but I assume that Nightmare has no idea what Terminus is up to re that human girl. But since she thinks that he likes her, she may well tell him about the rumored half Noxian boy. That will disturb him I’ll bet.
Or Tim might be what he is looking for in regards to opening that next door.
Major spoilers, do not read further: Ruthless did have a child but it was born dead, so being ruthless she switched her dead baby with the other hybrid baby. But using unholy means the dead baby was brought back to life by Lord Pax (he thought it was his). So Tim is the light hybrid born from Lord Pax’s tragic love (Tim’s mother died at childbirth) but then snatched by Ruthless, while Shadow is the dark hybrid daughter of Ruthless.
In return for Pax getting his “daughter” back from the dead, he agreed to give back her firstborn, which is what the Sisterhood really wanted with all their deceptions and secret plotting… Pax and Ruthless are really their unwitting pawns, for 100 generations they have sought a hybrid of a dark and light hybrid in order to sacrfiice it and bring back the demon lady Nixorella using its flesh.

I got confused when Ruthless had a dead kid (with who?) switched it with Lord Pax’s never-before-mentioned previously born kid (?!)(who is a hybrid already? who is the mother?) then Pax brings the dead kid back to life… (how? who is this kid now? is that important at all?)
Also Pax’s kid who ruthless steals is Tim, but the baby that gets switched in is female, because he references a daughter… so… would he not have noticed? Is the second kid Shadow? What? Gahhh…
Anyway, all in good fun, but the real story is nowhere near as convoluted as this. It’s very simple, actually, I just haven’t told all the facts yet, in fact, several important characters haven’t even entered the narrative yet. XD

Only your parents can answer that, but you as the creator should be able to answer for Tim’s parents.

I feel like this is someone else’s Line work. It doesn’t look right. Also it’s not Shadows fault that Tim is a 1/2 breed.
2/5 for direct face panels. And a 3/5 for half breeds.
but… it IS my line work? I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but I’m rather inconsistent in my line work, as I move forward I try new things all the time as the comic goes on. XD
