I would predict that if Marcy tells anybody “Mean girl monsters from under the bed cut my hair while I was asleep” then it’s a quick trip to the school psychiatrist. a looooong prescription for anti-psychotic pharmaceuticals and a lifetime of hospital.

Interesting how miss “dont get attached” is rushing to protect a humans hairdo. Scaring humans is what they do professionally. While this might be going a tad overboard I dont see how she would have such a problem with it.

Last page I also thought about some of those depilatory creams, just for Marcy’s eyebrows but getting that shit IN Marcy’s eyes may be too much, even for me.
I don’t think Shadow cares about what she’s using. As long as it’s sharp. She could use a katana to cut her hair if that was something she could get her hands on.
If the next page doesn’t contain a JoJo’s reference I think that opportunities have been missed.

Heh, don’t worry about it then. JoJo, while absurd, is a good anime. There are several seasons and each season is divided in different parts. The whole “JoJo reference” thing is due to how the author keep referencing to previous JoJo stories, the whole thing became cult-like.
There is also the whole “WRYYYYYYYYY!” thing, with the giant roller compactor, from the overpowered Dio who just can’t kill Jotaro.
One particularity of JoJo is that nearly all villain possess 70’s to 90’s band names: Dio, Santana, Wamuu (for Wham!), Esidisi (AC/DC), Kars (The Cars).

First it’s both good and slightly odd that Midnight is the voice of reason here. I definitely approve.
Second this page just showed us that Marcy’s interest in Tim isn’t fake, she is literally dreaming about him. Go Tim!
