I’m guessing that Midnight figured that Tim would not like Shadow doing that to Marcy, so it would just hurt their relationship, and would make Shadow eve sadder.
I wonder if Marcy waking will lead to something like her seeing Shadow and Midnight, or Marcy doing something that get Midnight’s ‘attention’ (some people got that impression from Midnight’s boobs comment last week), or will Shadow and Midnight just get back to Nox ad have a real conversations there?
First Tim would have to find out that Shadow cut Marcy’s hair.
Would Midnight tell “Dog Boy”? Would Shadow? Would Marcy even know WHO did it, (if Midnight kept her trap shut)—-“Mean girls. monsters from under the bed!!!”
“Sure, sure, just take the pills, kid”
tim already knows his isn’t the only room shadow can enter, and shadow was upset immediately after he brought up marcy. seeing marcys hair crudely cut short and marcy being upset about it should be enough to give away shadows attack.
It’s a VERY flimsy theory. There’s just not enough evidence to link Shadow & the haircut, unless Marcy sees and reports Shadow to Tim (and how would she know to tell Tim?); or Midnight rats out Shadow.
Midnight and Ruth are the only two females who have met BOTH Marcy & shadow.
Maybe once the comic is done and i get proper cinema 4d training ill make a youtube series on this comic

I really hope this puts to bed the idea some people have about Marcy just using Tim for selfish reasons. She’s quite literally dreaming about the lucky guy, so she clearly has the hots for him.
By selfish reasons, I mean she’s using Tim for a prank with then other popular kids or something nefarious like that. Nothing to do with Tim’s feelings.

NOW, MID! POUNCE AND KISS! :)= MARCY’S TITS COMPEL YOU!
More seriously, though, the girls had better duck for cover now and hide for a bit (in a closet?). Or maybe this is where we find out Marcy is Anna’s kid sister and knows what goes on between Anna and Terminus, so she’s not fazed by Noxians? (Yeah, not likely, I know…)
Also how long is Marcy’s hair when not in those dumb pig-tails? I’m liking her bed-hair in that last panel. And all things considered… I kinda feel bad for her knowing in the long run she loses to Shadow. Part of me wants to see Marcy have her own happy ending, even if it’s not with Tim.
In particular, while Marcy apparently has a bit of a reputation at the school (no worse than most other popular cheerleaders, at least), she doesn’t appear to be setting Tim up for anything humiliating … especially not if she’s dreaming about him in that way.
So was I, earlier on. Popular, pretty cheerleader type coming onto someone who is not her usual type (someone in an earlier page mentioned she had a preference for jocks, the usual “cheerleader+football/basketball/baseball player” stereotype), when the target is someone who is into photography (“I didn’t think yearbook nerds came out of hibernation until spring”) and horror/slasher movies? That’s normally a setup for something humiliating. But then, he did seem to grow up into someone not unattractive, so he probably caught someone’s eye before this.
Now, it’s also clear Tim really doesn’t reciprocate Marcy’s interest; she may have concluded he’s her type, but she’s not really his. That’s not gonna stop Marcy or Shadow, though.
I’ve seen those “teen school is hell” movies, too but a cautionary note that cliches only become so common because they’re often accurate descriptors of behaviour.
Now, on to your other point.
Shadow will stop Marcy, so long as Midnight stops stopping Shadow.

it wouldn’t be hard to put 2 and 2 together.

GAH! QUICK! BACK UNDER THE BED!
Poor poor Tim is doooooooooommmmmmmeeeedddd!!!! Now
I don’t wanna sound like a psychic or anything, but this looks like Marcy’s gonna wake up to a forgotten pair of scissors.
And perhaps also to a few strands of hair in her bed
Ah, jealousy, thy name is woman, even if said woman is a Noxian.
Ha, some monsters you two turned out to be! You’re supposed to be ones doing the scaring. 😀
Mission failed.
repeat the mission jajaja
If the Noxians eyes glow will Tim’s eyes glow.
No, probably not considering he’s mostly human.
Unless Terminus replaces his eyeballs with lightbulbs and puts a battery-pack into his skull, but Terminus doesn’t seem to be surgically inclined.
well half unless lady blackheart is also half human surely
Seems that Marcy might actually like Tim. EG, that was not the beginning of a sick prank by the “in” girls.
“What’s going on?”
“Nothing. Go back to sleep.”
“Oh. All right.”
Hey Brandon
I’m thinking of writing a romantic comedy.
It’s about a guy and a girl (classic)
At first they don’t like each other (classic)
But then they end up in bed together (classic)
It’s called: The Rapist
Uhhhh… yep. That’ll go over well, I’m sure.
Ummm… alright. XD I’m sure that’ll go over smoothly.
I really hope this puts to bed the idea some people have about Marcy just using Tim for selfish reasons. She’s quite literally dreaming about the lucky guy, so she clearly has the hots for him.
..and that’s NOT purely selfish?
Tim hasn’t expressed any interest but he’s a boy so his opinions don’t matter, right?

I confess that I was expecting Marcy’s motives at first.
I agree she’s having “sweet dreams” about Tim.
I just hope that she’s going to launder her own sheets, afterwards.
s/expecting/suspecting/ ?
