Just waiting for the next time Midnight and Tim have a heart to heart about Shadow; he ends up saying something all sweet and Tim like, and her heart goes “THUMP”… Tim wakes up to Shadow snuggled on his left, Midnight on his right, with an empty box of cookies and crumbs all over his chest. I do agree though, would be nice to have Marcy get swept off her feet, maybe a childhood friend of Tims that moved away and just moved back all grown up, and she loses all that “I’m the one teasing” and turns to mush when the friend even looks at her.
Why am I expecting two thumps and sqeaks next week, because Ruth pulled both girls back under the bed😄😋
Or one quick thump with a sap and Marcy goes back to bye-bye land.

That’s a bit dark for this comic, and I don’t think Midnight would let that happen.

Nope, Shadow and Midnight remain bosom buddies throughout. Perhaps theirs might be the strongest relationship; apart from Tim and Shadow, in the story.
I’d ask how you know how hard it is.. aheh.. to pull one startled girl under a bed.. but what happens under the bed..Stays under the bed. I know if the girl was as cute as Shadow or Midnight.. I’d be pretty hard too! ‘snicker’ {leer}

It’ll probably land in the middle of a scene (there are lots of more drawn out meetings in this chapter because the plot is starting to snowball…) so, probably nothing noteworthy or special about this milestone… but you never know. Things have been known to shift around before.
