Exactly, obviously all this drama won’t last as we already know they do get together. This is all just that “Push” Tim was talking about back at the beginning of this chapter.

So now the question is how is Marcy gonna react to finding Tim’s scissors in her room late at night. My guess is she is either going to think that she took them by accident and that’s that. Or that someone left them in her room for some reason, which intrigues her and goes to talk with/interrogate Tim about it which could lead to her finding out about Shadow and possibly grow closer to Tim. Or third option and the one I’m hoping doesn’t happen, Marcy goes around school telling everyone Tim is a perv who snuck into her room at night with a pair of scissors and tried to do something to her.
Fourth option (and my prediction) is that Marcy confronts Tim directly at school while waving the scissors around threateningly, and is, after the police intervene, taken away to the Pleasant Acres Centre for Disturbed Adolescents where she spends the rest of her youth protesting that “the monsters under her bed” left them while she was asleep.
Of course the authorities don’t believe her and when she’s released she spirals down to a life of degradation, drugs, prostitution and crime.
Moral: Don’t fuck with Shadow’s choice in boyfriends. It won’t end well for you!

Who the hell labels scissors? Literally the only character I have ever seen do this is Double D from Ed, Edd, and Eddy. There’s no way this dude is so organized and guarding of his stuff that he labeled some damn scissors. Come on now! Smh.
I mean if something belongs to you, you take precautions in case you lose something. Some people take that more seriously then others. I’m sure Tim’s not the only one that does this kind of thing.
Well, when they went out for halloween Tim did run into a Bully of his and if he did get bullied in school, labeling everything you own is a precaution you do in order to avoid having your stuff stolen by people, so its not that unbelievable.
There’s a guy at my work who labels all his tools. *shrug* I’ve written my name on stuff before.
Depends on how common thievery is. My dad bought an engraver and put his name on all his tools because they’d get borrowed by his coworkers so often and they’d forget to put them back.

If there’s no name on it, it’s MINE!
But if there is a name on it, it would behoove you to at least try to return those supplies to said person. Tim’s a smart lad. I wish I put my name on my really expensive calculator in high school before I misplaced it. Someone nice might’ve given it back. But without a name, I don’t expect anyone to return lost items. It’s just not realistic.

In the family photo on page #149 we see Tim wearing an Aegis on his belt. Presumably, this allows him to travel between Earth and Nox.
Or it’s a deactivated token of esteem from a grateful Nox for saving their endangered princess.
It’s just an award and doesn’t work like the real ones.

From this page I get the feeling Tim’s gonna come around out of guilt and possibly fetish but Shadow’s tryna move on but still has feelings for Tim cause of all the years they spend together.
So we could be getting a “no u” reverse uno card situation in which Shadow tries to be normal and Tim tries to get Shadow.

Hope for Tim’s sake that the book of magic his mom has, has something for erasing memories in it. Time for his mom to step in and clean up Shadow’s mess to protect her boy. Side result of that might be Marcy is reset so far back she doesn’t remember being interested in playing house with Tim.
This is the best prediction so far but I dont think its exactly it as brandon did mention the nlame on the scissors is a plot device so I dont think it will be fixed that quickly
Using magic like that would be the cheap way out. XD I’m fixing it the harder, more complicated way.
This could end well, cause they studied together so she might have borrowed them during that time. We’ll see anyway.
