Hah first again hehe. And now I’m betting Termite is gonna go put the moves on Shadow to learn more about Tim. And considering what has happened between her and Tim she may be open to his advances. I feel bad for Marie
Is it to sleep with Nightmare? I bet it’s to sleep with Nightmare.
There are only 2 really suprising actions he can take at this point, 1 go after midnight/lady moonlight, or 2 go tell one of the older males in charge to start a war between the sexes to draw everyone’s attention away from him kidnapping Tim.
Oh, just had another scenario thought up. What if we took sex out of the equation. What if Terminus is looking for the hybrid (Tim) because he is trying to find some that is like himself? Meaning Terminus is a hybrid as well, but one that came out with express genes of a Noxian.
ya, but at the speed you update, that means December or so.
I know the update speed has been brought up infinite times, but if you know you update so slowly, then at least make sure you are not doing decompressed storytelling. It feels like everything is in a standstill, the story is still in the same night as it was a year ago.
Not even record. If you don’t have patience for reading webcomics, don’t.
In Between Failures 488 comics from to March 2007 to July 2009 covered around 1 1/2 days, with the 1st day taking 305 strips.
College Roomies from Hell!!! had day lasting seventeen months.
Commander Kitty has been running for three years now, but the plot seems to have taken place over the course of a single day…except the bus trip.
As of December 2010, over 40% of the entire run of Dead Winter focused on the events of a single day.
Though Dominic Deegan: Oracle For Hire doesn’t have to be slaved to our calendar, taking place in a different, magical world, occasional jokes about how the characters’ several-hour-long adventures “felt like months” crop up.
Lampshaded in Dragon Ball Multiverse, when an annoyed U18 Vegeta mentions that it felt like two years since his fight in the tournament, when only a couple of hours have passed in the comic.
El Goonish Shive includes two story arcs (‘Painted Black’ and ‘Grace’s Birthday Party’) which both took over a year and a half to cover periods of roughly six to eight hours. Also, Tedd gets knocked off his feet in the January 22, 2013 page. He lands five comics later. That’s a week to depict two thirds of a second.
A particularly epic example: Elf Life’s “The Wedding” storyline, chronicling the events of a single day, ran for about two years! It did, however, contain several extended flashbacks.
Freefall is set in the far future, in a distant starsystem with no stated earth-date, so staying synced to the calendar is no issue, but the story so closely follows its character’s lives that one of the in-story days took 250 comics (over a year and a half) to tell.
Please ignore him, he’s just being a jerk. I’m fine with the story going how it is and I appreciate what you’re doing. I’m excited to see where things go!
well about time i have been waiting for a week to see this again plus i can finaly finish her in full body, well sense nightmare has a really good look so is it gonna reveal that did that nightmare & terminus ever did it , you know what i mean Brandon Right 😉 wink wink , sorry i’ll try to be behaved myself this time dude anyway great job man
So clearly Terminus is going to try to work his manly charm on Tim. “How to live a normal life, by Tim: do the opposite of everything I do.” Tim is going to have sooooo many problems in the near future…each aren’t even of his own doing. Wonder how Shadow would react to Tim after it all goes down.
I think they can be, yeah. I do imagine a scene later where somebody lifts somebody else off the ground by their throat without much effort, so… it’s possible.
Haven’t paid a whole lot of attention but do all the guys’ names have to do with death/endings and all the females’ names have to do with night/darkness except for Ruth?
“Night things” and “darkness” were sort of a running theme while naming the characters at first, and it sorta just extended into other things. Ruthless was just a happy accident, since originally she was just a regular run of the mill human Milf before I had an epiphany early on to make her a hidden Noxian instead.
Mortis seems to be a fairly strong individual and Tim is just reaching adulthood and he is a science nerd so I don’t see him fairing to well in a fight between the two.
Fun Fact: Neil deGrasse Tyson was a wrestler, captaining his high school team and a letterman in college. So, yeah…science nerds are total creampuffs. [/ROLLING OF EYES]
Idk about that, now he has a human girl after him; which he didn’t before, and he has Shadow mad at him because he has rejected her feelings; which he hasn’t before.
The most surprising part here is that Shadow counts as a red-head? In a monster world where they’ve got green hair and really red skin, you think they’d need something more than gold-orange to call someone a red-head!
That only works *IF* Nightmare has told Termy “the whole story”.
I don’t trust that she has.
It’s a principle of undercover work to keep essential snippets of information to yourself until they become useful to yourself.
Nightmare’s outfit implies she’s active in that or a similar field, or is she just cosplaying a Goth wannabe?
Well she is Shadow’s “plaything” but considering Shadow was talking about Tim’s rejection when Nightmare heard her talk about him being a hybrid I would assume she knows that wouldn’t work.
Oh no

Terminus’ next move may be a little surprising!
He’s looking for a hybrid, so my guess is he is more interested in just which of the hybrids parents is Noxian.
Just a guess. Mostly based on your response.
Is it to sleep with Nightmare? I bet it’s to sleep with Nightmare.

If so, he is going to be puzzled about her lack of reaction. His charm will work on others though.
Termite, I like the nickname!
blah blah storyline blah blah
we want more of shadows voluptuous bosom and rocky abs
Haha, this makes me feel like I didn’t waste my time at all!
But I feel ya! Shadow’s tits’ll be all up in this comic soon enough! XD
ya, but at the speed you update, that means December or so.

You do better then.

…. and lot of other examples at https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WebcomicTime/WebComics …
On the other end of the scale, Funky Winkerbean jumped 40 years from one strip to the next.
Please ignore him, he’s just being a jerk. I’m fine with the story going how it is and I appreciate what you’re doing. I’m excited to see where things go!
What abs?
So many targets…and Shadow’s not ’round to run interference.

“What will he ever do?”
Whatever someone backed into a corner needs to do…get “Ruthless”! ;D
Well I dunno, Terminus. Maybe Tim’s dad is actually some hetherto unknown third race and Tim actually isn’t part human at all!
Wouldn’t that be a real kicker though?
Poor Nightmare…I wonder what will hurt more: The knife in her back or how it got there!
Hmmm… you never know!
Amusing.
So does being a hybrid automatically make you a chick magnet?
Uhhh… well, I wouldn’t call him a chick magnet exactly. haha
Tenchi Syndrome. Its brutal.
So are Noxians physically stronger than humans? I want to know how much a chance Tim would stand against Mortis in a fist fight.
I think they can be, yeah. I do imagine a scene later where somebody lifts somebody else off the ground by their throat without much effort, so… it’s possible.
Didnt we already have that> Mortis vs Termite?
Nah, he just shoved him against a wall back then.
Haven’t paid a whole lot of attention but do all the guys’ names have to do with death/endings and all the females’ names have to do with night/darkness except for Ruth?

“What will he ever do?”
Well, since he doesn’t KNOW he has targets on him… he’ll do what he normally does!
Idk about that, now he has a human girl after him; which he didn’t before, and he has Shadow mad at him because he has rejected her feelings; which he hasn’t before.

Never noticed so much as an orange thread on her head. Hmm…
Anyway, keep up the awesome work, Brandon!
I’m more surprised that he considers Shadow a tart. Given what we have seen of Noxian morality, Shadow seems relatively virtuous.
Terminus probably sees every woman that way. XD
He may know that Tim’s a hybrid but does he know WHO Tim’s mother is and will he regret doing anything when he finds out?
Well, Nightmare heard the whole story, so Terminus knows the whole story now, too.
Isn’t “Goth wannabe” like normal fashion for Noxians?
Nightmare certainly takes it to an extreme.
I’d suggest she’s more “wannabe” than most other Noxians.
Terminus is probably going to get Nightmare to try to seduce Tim, kidnap him and bring him to Nox.
I doubt she’ll be too into that idea. XD
Well she is Shadow’s “plaything” but considering Shadow was talking about Tim’s rejection when Nightmare heard her talk about him being a hybrid I would assume she knows that wouldn’t work.
He* is Shadow’s “plaything”
