Now… does Marcy still have possession of Tim’s scissors? And if so, why did she not return them? They are, after all, definitely branded with his name… and I can see it clearly in this strip (twice).
And as a further oddity, they change design: Panel 2 shows a pair of standard right-hand scissors, while Panel 5 shows a pair of left-hand scissors.
And after having pulled an archive trawl studying the scissors, I can safely say that the are not… uhh… ‘anatomically correct’ (changing as they do from right- to left-handers, and the blades swapping as to which is the main blade – the bigger finger hole is usually on the main blade)… BUT they are scissors, so that’s probably all we need to worry about – all else is just being nit-picky.
