I have a big feeling that after the high-father hears what Terminus has to say, the high-father is going to get anger then yell it them witch will make Terminus do something stupid or evil.
This is not going to end well. First for Terminus, and then the High Father.
I feel like the High Father knows what he’s tinkering with is something that should be left well enough alone. And is going to give Terminus the chewing out of a lifetime.
Leaving Terminus believing he has take matters into his own hands… which means removing a certain High Father.
Well, if Teminus’s plan is put into action then I have a feeling it won’t end well for the humans and that it will be particularly bad for Tim…
Perhaps, but I’m still unclear on what the Termite considers to be the ‘greatest problem of our time’. He keeps banging on about it, but hasn’t really expounded on what it is – of course, that could be because anyone he talks to knows what he’s on about, whereas we the readers do not. Until we find out what’s got his knickers in a bind, we don’t really know how big a threat he really could be.
This may be true, but different people are different, and if you only ever refer to something as ‘the greatest problem of our time’, and the people who work with you on it also only refer to it as that, you could be very surprised at the end to find out what problem you were actually working on.
In fact, you *all* could be.
There is a school of thought that runs along the lines of, “but people who have a very different idea of what the greatest problem of our time is will see a discrepancy between the actions you’re trying to take and their problem.” This is a highly optimistic line of thought. It’s possible that some of them will, but only adjust what they’re doing to counter the unwanted influence, rather than leaving the group. Some of them *might not care*, and just be in this for the camaraderie. The big effort itself could potentially seem like the actual fix, for those who think that the greatest problem is loneliness or that people don’t work together.
Somebody around Terminus’ age is probably not experienced yet enough with people to understand this point, however. I mean, this is the sort of experience through which one tends to learn this stuff.
If I may be so bold as to make a suggestion for your patreon? You should really consider making wallpapers, requests, character sheets, and yes NSFW stuff for patrons to drum up some business.
Terminus still hasn’t elaborated on what this problem is and he’s already offering solutions.
