Well, I was right in Terminus not being a killer (intentionally), but I guess it stands to reason that the old man was gonna die somehow. Accident or not, though, Terminus is due for a full villain turn now that he’s got blood on his hands and can no longer turn back…
Not yet. He will become one if he decides to kill others in cold blood but he still has a chance to redeem himself if he chooses correctly. I don’t expect him to but he hasn’t crossed the moral event horizon yet.
They are not in “killing people who notice we’re killing people” stupid spiral… yet.
Technically, not even in “can’t ask people for more information, because we can’t tell how we already got this much” stupid spiral.
Seriously though, it’s going to be a little bit before we see them together again… however, when it happens I think everyone is going to enjoy it. There’s still at least 3-4 longish scenes to get through before that happens.
I will say Shadow (and company) will be the next scene’s focus though.
His arms are too low for that to be a chest wound, and abdominal wounds are rarely fatal given treatment. Even without treatment it usually takes days for someone to expire that way.
I think you missed a trick there, Brandon. You could have incorporated “The Bloodstone” into the storyline and none of us would have been any the wiser 😆. Joking aside, I take it that the change in background colour was simply artistic license.

🎶And another one bites the dust!🎶
“I’d rather die then give you the knife!!” *Stabs himself, falls over dead.*
“Well…ok then. Guess we can take it now.”
He ran into my knife….
He ran into my knife ten times…..
Does this mark the first casualty of this comic series?
Let’s see… Hmmm… I believe the answer is…
Yes.
When will we get back to Shadow and Tim’s story. I want to know how they got back together.
Well at the rate this storyline is playing out, probably 2022 is when we will start to see that point of the story
Har har har.

Thanks for the update. I do have one question. I discovered this comic last year. I just want to know, “What gave you the idea to make this comic?”
Can’t wait to see Plan C for this.
Hey Brandon Shane are you still upload on Sunday and Monday or You doing a 2 though 3 week upload like Tom from the web comic call Twokinds
I’ve actually seen a few cases in stories of someone running into somebody’s knife.
Still I feel a bit sorry for the old man.
I look forward to learning more of the history of Nyx.
And I do want to get back to Shadow and Tim.
“I have no intention of…” of what? Killing him? Well good job guys, you screwed up. If that wasn’t it then uh I guess…you still screwed up.
Well, he does look a little like Charlton Heston…
This looks bad but the geezer might be doing this intentionally.

I see the centre of the knife has now turned red… has it been ‘activated’ somehow by being in contact with blood?
Or is it just the backgound showing through a hole in the centre?
The later. It’s just a hole.
Disagree.
It looks like a mounted stone in a silver metal bezel that HAS activated and now shows red.
Thanks for pointing that out Hepcat.
Until we see otherwise, I’m also inclined to believe that there is a hole in the knife, and not a (now activated) stone.
An inset stone was certainly my first impression. It would also explain why the background now has that red glow.
It’s a hole. You’re seeing the red background through the hole.

Yeah. I made it red because BLOOD. Also, I have no idea what a blood stone is. XD
The “classic” bloodstone is opaque green jasper with red inclusions of hematite.
