Welp. Someone died. Point of no return. We’re gonna make sure this becomes a regular thing and have you kill a character every 10th page! As the story progresses the page gap will steadily become smaller and the kill quota higher, until we get to the point where you have to kill at least 10 characters per page. If you do NOT fulfill these death quotas, I’ll be forced to… Become VERY disappointed with you.
There aren’t that many characters in the whole story!

Yes, yes, I know you said no soliloquies, but still this one came to mind.
Wow didn’t expect Terminus to get caught red handed there, or red knived more like.
Terminus: ” You see, I am a door to door Knife salesman and I just wanted to show him the merchandise and it all got out of hand along the way.”
OK, nobody panic, we could make a case for involuntary manslaughter here, it’s not like Terminus was TRYING to kill him, he could get out of this with 8 years at worst.

Bullies need to suffer the consequences of their actions or they just escalate and do it again, more often.
