While everyone is guessing pregnancy, I am not. Unless something is WAY off in her blood chemistry, pregnancy tests are not routinely done on blood samples. Now, if Anna shows sudden onset diabetes (a common pregnancy side effect) then a pregnancy test might be performed.

There is a blood test called a Quantitative HCG. It is a standard test performed after the basic pregnancy test. It provides the current level of growth hormone in the blood to tell how far into the pregnancy a woman is.

Worked in hospital IT department for 32 years. Note that I didn’t say blood tests WOULDN’T show pregnancy, just that it’s not normally the first test done to determine it.
And that something would have to be way off in her blood chemistry… High HCG levels would fall into that category. Since we know nothing about what effects Noxian/human crossbreeding has on blood chemistry, or at what speed such a pregnancy proceeds, Anna may not have even missed a period yet.f

The Hepcat is probably correct. In the US, it is required to ID the person you’re speaking with before giving any details about medical conditions. (Brandon is in Canada, but I don’t think rules would be greatly different.). Even then, note that the caller doesn’t discuss details, only generalities. It also explains why she doesn’t recognize the voice on the phone: it is a random clinic employee asked to contact her to come in for additional testing.
