There are three ways to lie.
1. Just lie. “No mommy, I did not touch the chocolate cake”.
2. Tell the truth, just not all of it.
3. Tell the truth, maybe even all of it, but tell it so badly that you aren’t believed.
4. Make a statement that seems to say something but gives nothing away.
5. Answer with a question. This could hint at a wrong inference or not but any well crafted question can inspire doubts.
6. Tell so many different stories that no one knows which assertion, if any, are the truth.
Seems gravity is working extra hard on Marcy again in this page. She’s either not wearing a bra or Brandon decided to make her less perky for her age? They just seem “saggy” for a high school girl. The look on Tim’s face in the last panel has me thinking that something has made him have some sort of epiphany regarding Shadow.

LoL ok ok she’s definitely top heavy. Just looking back she rides different in her cheer outfit if you get my drift is all I’m saying. I’ll just chalk it up to her using a sports bra that is better suited to handling her ample bosom when cheering with all that jumping up and down and such, and that in her current outfit she’s “letting her hair down” so to speak with a more comfortable undergarment.

Certainly a girl of 18-20 wouldn’t. They go through AGONIES to appear more or beter than they are.
I mean, there’s big tits, and then there’s tits so big they hang below your elbows. Which basically means her tits hang as far as her belly button… They saggy.
You guys must be used to seeing those cartoon melons that are perfectly round and jacked up to the girl’s throat. They’re FINE and not anywhere near her belly button, which is down by the buttons on her skirt.

On an 18-20 year old schoolgirl, they droop.
Whether that’s a result of wearing a soft bra on this occasion or whther it’s the result of jumping up and down too much (cheerleader!!!) while not wearing a sports bra (“Coopers droop” – stretching the supporting ligaments) only Brandon knows for certain and he’s completely denying the effect anyway.
But I suggest the evidence is in the Panel 4 side view. That’s a droop or sag.
This could be his best approach. I’ve occasionally tried telling people about my “alien visitor” friends, and found that nobody ever believes me. I’ve even admitted to being a visiting alien (working on a project that’s studying humans) and people always think I’m joking. Shadow is remarkably humanoid, so she could probably walk around undisguised, and few people would give her a second look. Except for the guys who think she looks sexy. 😉

I kind of get the vibe that at some point Tim suddenly realized it doesn’t matter what he says and maybe he’s even getting over his hang up about worrying what others think and wanting to be considered “normal”. Frankly he has a beautiful way out of all this by merely pointing out that it was Halloween when Craig had his unfortunate encounter. I mean seriously on that night would you expect someone to look “normal”? It can’t be helped if big strong Craig had an over active imagination and got a bit scared by a girl’s costume after all. Easier to make up some wild story than admit he got frightened by a girl. Depending on if Craig and Marcy have a past history or are related Tim might even suggest Craig took the scissors and was stalking Marcy cause he’s jealous she’s showing Tim attention. That would be my play to talk my way out of this situation anyway. If it got Craig mad enough to punch Tim that would probably just seal the deal and get Marcy off track.
Ah, so you think Tim will pull a “Lord Viren” oh his ass. Make both Craig and Marcy doubt themselves while at the same time pulling Marcy onto Tim’s side. Smart move.
