What’s next, Tims dad is ex demon hunter? IS THIS AN ICHIGO SITUATION
Seeing as we were recently introduced to a demon hunting organization (or at least it looks like that at the moment) this was actually my first thought as well.
Either that or his “secret” has to do with how he and Ruth were able to have a hybrid child. My guess up till now was either sheer luck or Ruth knows some magic that helped things along, but maybe the secret to Tim’s birth lays in his fathers side of the family.
I remember the story that this was based off of and dad definitely has something to do with Tim’s birth.
I don’t know how many times I gotta say it. Tim’s parents are his REAL parents! He isn’t adopted or anything.

OK, now Tim’s dad’s got a secret? Is he a former agent for the government? Is he related to the ones who kidnapped Terminus’ human concubine? Is he an ET? Is he with MIB? Or is it just that he likes his golden lioness to spank him like a sub?
I immediately thought of the secret government department. That would mean that he could be in hiding.
I think that the agent plot is the most probable, because they know that SOMETHING change in a month.
Maybe… there is some parallel and hidden diplomatic contact between humans (government through some secret department) and high noxians and the treaty could be reached in a month, so they (Tim and his father) could travel there thanks to the conditions of the treaty then.
Well, the “What could happen in a month” line of dialogue is just pointing out that Tim’s graduation happens in about a month; it has nothing to do with any sort of countdown or anything sinister related to the plot.
Although, since I know the future, their lives will be quite different when that time rolls around.
