There is enough material to keep this going for a while. But I don’t see how a lot of the future story lines can be padded as much as this bit, so who knows.
You’re right, starting next chapter things start get much more pointed and start drifting towards a sort of end game.

Of course, since Shadow’s not based on personalities of real girls, her behaviour in the comic MIGHT be more rational than reality would suggest.

I just discovered your comic and I must say I’m really enjoying it And I’m really looking forward to when they first have sex. Not for the lewdness, the Sex scene at the end of Ai Yori Aoshi (it only happens in the manga) showed Me how beautiful and wholesome sex scenes can be. It’s not an exaggeration when I say that I have spent years trying to find a sex scene like that one. I’ve only been able to find two that meet my standards.
One is “Isekai Meikyuu De Harem O” but it’s with an asterisk. Visually the sex scene in chapter 12 is almost perfect Unfortunately it falls apart when you add in the context that they’re a sex slave and master.
The other one is a hentai called “I brought home a succubus who failed to find a job” (there’s also a pg version). While the visuals are cartoonishly stupid the dialogue and visuals right before the sex scenes is amazing. Maybe you could use these for reference.
This is a personal preference but something I’ve noticed over the years is that when you do with sex scenes you don’t want to have it be like a slide show (like The one at the very beginning of the comic was). You want to let us hear the thoughts of the characters and not just from one perspective you want to let us hear the thoughts of both characters. Maybe have them explore each others bodies and they discover something about the other that they didn’t notice before. You want to make it slow paced and should write it with the intent of people going through the whole thing in one go as opposed to reading just one page at a time

This might surprise people but I have never successfully drawn a sex scene before between any two people.
I mostly just do pin-ups, so this whole thing is a bit nerve-wracking for me. I hope that since everyone has hyped it up in their heads for years they aren’t horribly disappointed when it turns out super clumsy and basic. I’ve gotta really bring my A-game. It may take WEEKS to get right.

Does it really need to be that graphic? You’ve said yourself that this isn’t a porn comic, so you could just let your readers’ imagination take over.
No, it probably won’t… but there will be a huge section of folks who will be disappointed if it doesn’t show something though.
I personally find it better when it doesnt show genitals so that it can focus more on their faces. Well i like to binge webcomics so i’ll see you again in about a year.

I know you told us frequently that it is a part time for you, not paid and only for fun. Recently, because there is hollidays, it was not every two weeks but every three weeks instead and that made me sad and sad that we cannot have more pages. Especially, I hope that, due to hollidays, you would have more time just to share your fun with everyone with a new page.
Anyway, I simply did not understand what is this book, Is that the magic book with which Ruth and Shadow are able to change forms or any other book ?

Does the comic have a text version? Like a book
IIRC there is a book that was before the comic. I know there was I found it once, but having started with the comic I just never got into the text. For the life of me I cannot find it now though.

Don’t know why he doesn’t link to his blog. Also note that the text version is almost an outline, the whole Halloween story line was one sentence. The web comic is much more filled out. At the current rate, there is enough material in it to keep this going another 30 years.

Have you guys seen E.T.? A whole family keeps an alien secret and they aren’t exactly on the same page when the movie begins. It works out though.

Me, the truth is I met this comic at the beginning of 2020 and the truth is that I love how it develops the story, the characters, the drawing style, etc. I am surprised that I went from simply reading the comic and now, until I spent about 3 hours formulating a theory of exactly when events in history happen, (which led me to think that the history of the present occurs between 2006 and 2008, and the children between 1996 and 1998) I also recommended the comic to a friend and being honest he liked it a lot.
So Brandon, please keep it up, the comic is going great (in my opinion) and it’s totally worth the wait to see a new page almost every Sunday.
I just noticed the book Tim is holding is dark grey and red, similar to Shadow. Coincidence?
