Truth be told I saw this coming ever since the first page were the high father was killed, it’s still good though. Honestly I’ve been thinking about this a lot and I came up with a theory, that is one of the reason why the Brotherhood seems to believe Terminus over his superior Mortis is that no one likes Mortis he comes off as a stick-in-the-mud and kind of a jackass who seems to have a bit of a temper.
Terminus maybe rotten and conniving, but he’s also intelligent, Charming and he knows how to speak. so couple with that with mortise being unpopular it’s not surprising they would believe Terminus over him.
But that is not enough.
That’s the reason because I suggest a story that could be enough convincing.
Nightmare goes to High-father to confess about a cover up in her motherhood.
That one girl (Shadow) has a relationship with a human.
And Nightmare has listen that this human could be an hybrid and there is a cover up about this circunstance.
Then, Terminus and Nightmare requested help from High-father to uncover all this treason.
Mortis opposed this, and he stole Terminus knife and killed High-father.
Because this talking contain a lot of verifiable info, like Shadow-Tim relationship and Mortis like/protect Shadow and Mortis probably lacks of an alternative story more than “I found Terminus killing high-father. I don’t know his motives.”

I don’t see it.
The only time he did show temper was with Terminus. There were several possible reasons for this, too. Mostly it demonstrated that while Mortis paid attention, he probably wasn’t quite keen enough to see through this guy’s BS screen.
Wait, this is a plot twist? Another? How many have been?

So … would this be the end of chapter 4 of this story or are we very close to that? (The truth is that the more chapters arrive … these more lengthen with the plot and the story as now, it seems that it reached 80 pages, a new record for size and plot xd)
If this was a movie, there would have been dramatic music and then a cut to a different perspective… Although the pacing might’ve felt wierd given that we just recently changed perspective to Nox…
Yeah, we aren’t switching to another scene yet! *THAT* upcoming cliffhanger will be much more musical sting worthy!

So these two managed to frame him… somehow. My bet is on Nightmare slipping out while the guys were ranting at each other.
This fact gives me the creeps. Even if I know that Terminus is the main antagonist of the series, I do think he should be convicted guilty for the kill not the high father.
How did I only found out about this comic today and why isn’t it world-famous yet?

Do you plan to end the comic at some point or add more and more chapters? That is not meant negatively, I think the comic is great. I just wanted to know.
Yes, there is indeed an ending. It is already planned out, it’s only a matter of getting there now.
There are still four chapters to go though, so… we’ve got PLENTY of time.

I keep wondering what’s with the look on Nightmare’s face? Also, is she looking at Moonlight or Shadow?
