Well, he’s already HAD Nightmare so he can count that notch on his bedpost (yes. he’s the type who WOULD keep score) and he hasn’t shown any sign of going back to Anna either.
He may be wanting to have Shadow instead. If she can escape to Tim and tell him, then I would happily predict a nuclear holocaust in Nox.
Keep in mind it is only one day since he has seen Anna, in this time frame. That last scene with her happened just last night.
So, in the one night, he went immediately from illicit fornication with a human to knife murder of his senior Lord Mortis, with a cuddle or some slap and tickle with Nightmare to pass the time and relieve some tension while plotting his next political move.

My guess is: he will at least pause for a moment… and Lady Moonlight will do her best to exploit Nightmare’s jealousy.

I would say his right match is Nightmare, but the fact that Shadow’s already wearing the dresss… I bet she’s his target.
Why do I see him bonding with Shadow and not Nightmare. And isn’t that door where he received the dagger from in one of those locations? It would be very interesting if it takes the blood of a creature from the offspring of a human and …. I can’t remember the name of Shadow’s people to open it.
The live in the realm of Nox. most people call them Noxians, but the female form is Noxe and Terminus is just Noxious.
I have never really confirmed the “Noxe” thing, I’m not even sure of the etymology of that word, in this case.
No, I acknowledge that it’s my invention to distinguish between the realm and (the largely female) personnel.
It’s common in many gendered European languages (especially French) to distinguish between male and female nouns ( le chat, la chatte).
The practice is becoming less common in both English and the USanian dialect (formerly waiter (M) waitress (F) and now server (Neutral)) also author,authoress and poet, poetess.
Gendered nouns are becoming outdated (although constructions like “waitperson” are clumsy, unfashionable and NOT likely to be longlasting (personal opinion)).

I do admit that having different pronouns for different people can make talking about people indirectly much more convenient. That said, selecting those pronouns based on anything important to the social hierarchy or something as intrinsic to the person’s body as their sexual presentation tends to impair that convenience and also cause a lot of societal harm.
Whether pronouns are based on sex, gender, or class, they will run into the issue that people tend to group by those to a certain extent, and suddenly you have no pronouns you can distinguish between *which* ‘he’, because you’re talking about a group of ‘he’s. If they’re based on either of the first two, they become a tool that can used to turn that differentiation into a class differentiation, because you can now discriminate based on pronouns to get the effect you’re looking for.
I’m a cis male, but I have lived with and around enough non-cis people to get an appreciation for how much convenience we get because some of the group are she, some are xe, some are he, one is ve, and one is per. Of course, in small groups, you can lose ambiguity, unless you go with the fully ambiguous ‘they’ or ‘one’. That said, I feel like in most cases, the limited ambiguity of ‘he’ or ‘she’ is potentially harmful, and one should go with one of the fully ambiguous options if you want ambiguity.
I do, however, note that you raise no objecton to Terminus being Noxious!

Brandon’s specifically denied that Lady Blackheart is Shadow’s mother although their tail finials are similar (except in colouring, see Page 87 I think).
They”re definitely closely related though so Shadow may be another sister to Lady Blackheart, like Mother Moonlight, or a cousin from the same family tree.
Sorry, I didn’t realize Lady Blackheart wasn’t Shadow’s mother, then it all makes sense.

The ruins are where the big door he wants to open is located. If He has control of it, then he won’t need Nightmare to guide him there, since it is on Sisterhood property.
At this pace Nightmare’s gonna be rather butthurt at some point.

That is, If he knows about the existence of Tim & Lady Blackheart, and the book itself.
That is, IF the book is what he’s missing yet for that door.
The Termite knows of the existence of Tim and that he’s a hybrid thanks to Nightmare (Strip #194) overhearing Shadow and Midnight talking about him in Strip #186. Nightie will also know of Tim’s connection to Ruth/Blackheart as she most likely was listening in as Shadow brought Midnight up to speed on his heritage, but whether Nightie also passed that info on to the Termite is up for debate.
As to the book (the Encyclopedia Magicka), Shadow returned it to Ruth as she didn’t feel comfortable holding on to it at that time, so the Termite’s chances of getting hold of it (assuming he even wants it) are likely to be pretty small.
I wonder if he shared that with Moonie, and that’s why she looks embarassed…

“murder even accidental” sorry, if a killing is accidental it’s not murder. maybe manslaughter, maybe death by misadventure or through negligence but to be “murder” requires intent and ONLY a court can make that decision.
IANAL, but his crime would very much depend on if laws in Noctis are based on English Common Law or not. My best guess is that it might be based on some variant of English Common Law as there’s so much crossover between the human and Noctis realms that it would be insanity to imagine that these two groups haven’t mingled enough for there to be a plethora of commonalities between them. That being said, it’s still up in the air as to whether or not these beings differentiate between 1st and 2nd degree murder in their legal system. I suppose this is something that will have to be touched on later, if at all. This is a comic after all, not freaking LOTR.
My point was to alert Omega to the essential component of “intent” Not all killings are murder, a distinction that Omega appeared to disregard by saying “…murder even accidental…”.
I’m aware that there are differences between English and US systems of jurisprudence (and Canadian and Australian) but “intent” as a component is common.
Turkish and Russian systems differ again and let’s not discuss Japanese or Chinese law.
So far, we’ve only seen interactions between Nox and Canadian realms, so it’s most likely that transfer of legal concepts has been from a very resticted knowledge base (if it has happened at all!!)
Nox law may be tribal in origin or based on colonisation from Mars, Alpha Centauri or Elfhame.
I love this site for discussions exactly like this. I had no idea Russian and Turkish systems of law differed so much from English or ‘western’ common law.
Me too and (it seems to me) that most systems either derived from the Code Napoleon or tribal systems, place undue reliance upon testimony of Authority (capital intentional) unsupported by verifiable evidence.
In other words, tread VERY carefully in other cultures, their idea of a “fair” trial may not be what you expect if you’r used to a sytem related to English Common Law (derived from the Germanic-Scandinavian)
The point I’m trying to make is that his beliefs put another person’s life in danger pretty drastically. His intent at this point whether good or evil has killed somebody.
