I like this page and found it quite logical considering the characters. And I wouldn’t be surprised if, as YMDHIS said above, that Shadow will be specifically called by Terminus in order to lure Tim.
Never thought he would have chosen Shadow JUST for finding out where Tim is. That is a good guess.
It’s a possibility that Nightmare and Terminus may have had a few bonding rituals of their own beforehand.
