I’ve noticed that the update frequency has gone down quite a bit, I would like to ask is this something temporary (possibly due to real-life reasons) or is the coming just fading away?
Well, last week I had to get my first Vaccine shot on Sunday, then I was on vacation after that, so my schedule was all messed up. I’m back at it now though!
Plan to take the day off after the second one, it’s a doozy.

Time for Bloodmoon to get her own spinoff strip. Except then we’d only see Shadow half as often. And of course I’m still awaiting that great day when we find out Midnight is Bi. 🙂

Backstabbing, ruthless, managing multiple agendas and people he is keeping in the dark, and able to flirt like that? If the story didnt require his downfall, he would probably have a promising political career ahead of him.
I mean he isnt quite a Xanatos, but he could become one. He didnt want to kill Pax, and in his own mind, he has noble intentions. He’s just been kept in the dark about the consequences of those intentions. I could see him and Nightmare actually teaming up with the others to fix his screwup once he realizes the depths of it.
Terminus performs well in good weather, but is fragile.
Right now he is boldly plowing ahead toward his objectives, yes. But all this seems to be one gamble piled upon another. No fallback positions, no backup plans. He neither has much of foresight, nor quick-thinking enough to fill the gaps with improvisation. Which is why the whole incident with Pax happened. If Nightmare wasn’t standing where she was, it would be over already. Once he runs out of luck… one mistake like this, crash and burn. Unless he is a very quick learner.
He’s not a very quick learner. So far, he’s just been lucky.
Running out of luck isn’t the only way this could end. Remember, luck is not always *good* or *bad*. It’s really pretty random. As evidenced by how he became a murderer.
It’s possible this will go on long enough for him to learn, but if he was a quick study, he wouldn’t have gotten into that situation. I may have just said he got into it with some random luck, but there were a bunch of things he should’ve done differently that each would have precluded it. Some of them as simple as how he showed the knife he took.

Terminus reminds me of that scene from Emperor’s New Groove, where Kuzco is picking out his potential brides.

Even if he has feelings for her(which isn’t out of the picture actually), she’s his only witness. “Yeah, I didn’t kill the guy, the other guy did. And also I marry the only person, who can vouch for me right now.” I’m more surprised that Red isn’t thinking with her proper brain in this instance herself. Like why do you even volunteer here?! Of course he’s going to try to go for Shadow for the plan, get Red angry and all of that, we know that. Why is Red getting so flustered and is in no way shaken by what happened earlier? Shouldn’t she at least be a little nervous and as such get a little pause to think and act slower, more cautious? She acts as if she’s either 1)insane and extremely horny at the same time; 2)on drugs.
Weirdly enough, he actually has more practical sense to choose Red since this way he has a reason to take her away before questioning can happen since she will leave with him, but that’s not what’s going on here. Plus it would be TOO suspicious.

I get the impression that Nightmare is a true believer and a willing accomplice. I suspect she knew about his request in advance and expects him to choose her, and I also expect him to choose her. If they just need Shadow to open the door, forcing her into a political marriage against her will may not secure her cooperation when asking for her help might.
And yet, Mother Moonlight had said that “Nobody is being forced into anyhing” (That’s not an exact quote because the archive for Chapter 5 isn’t up yet.)
But Moonlight ALSO beleives that Shadow’s newly pierced ears mean that she’s serious about somebody.
We know that it’s Tim, but Moonlight may think it’s Wormy Termy and that Shadow’s going to be compliant, at least.
Except she didn’t volunteer. And if he chooses her, she’s going to point that out. Vehemently.
But,
IF Termy chooses Shadow
AND she didn’t volunteer (you’re right)
THEN she’s “being forced” and Moonlight intervenes “you can’t force her!’
ELSE Moonie lied and Shadow CAN “be forced”
