When you’re looking so fine you cause a diplomatic incident. Man, I hope she doesn’t get pressured into this, flee to Tim’s only to find out he’s waiting for her with people, and then run back home and take up his offer on the spur of the moment, leading Tim to enter Nox to make up with her ending up right in Green Boy’s hands.
(This was all a guess by the way, but if it does end up being true I’m changing my name to Wizard Rick)
I also have a terrible feeling that all of this will lead to Shadow losing her virginity to Green Boy and resenting herself for it later. That’s how I would write a situation like this and I’m hoping Brandon is less of a dick to his characters than me.

Shadow is so shocked and stunned that, as she catches her breath she is surprised by a hiccup of all that buffet food (prawns, spiced tunnel worms) that she pukes THE LOT onto Wormy Termy’s head.
Midnight and Nightmare break into peals of laughter and Nightmare chortles, “..and THERE’S your answer!”, hikes up her skirt and Kicks Terminus in the back of his head.
Eclipse (who is lurking behind a pillar) mutters “Now, THIS is a party at last.”
when i was working the corset shop at the renfair, i would tell the ladies (as i was lacing them), “No sudden exertions,. NO running,. and most of all No excitement or surprises… if at any time you feel odd,. sit down NOW.!
odd = anything not normal, examples but not the rule. light headed, dizzy, cant breath.. ”
reason for “odd” statement.. woman told us from hospital (broken nose.) “i remember saying .” how everything looked Blue”,. then woke here.” boyfriend said she stated “My that is a beautiful shade of blue.” bf: there’s no blue around are you fine.?” gf: “i’m fine.” then she pole axed into the cobble stones..
The boyfriend was losing time with useless question. He should catch her immediately. If she would be really ok he can always just kiss her.

What does Shadow mean?
Is she okay?
She’s not sick, is she?
Wait, oh-no, Brandon Shane, don’t tell me Shadow’s gonna die?
I see three possibilities here;
A Shadow has genuinely fainted from shock. (This often happened in Victorian/Edwardian times when ladies’ corsets were over-tightened. BUT WAIT! Shadow’s not actually wearing a corset at all, so that’s not very likely)
B Shadow is faking a faint in order to gain time while she works out how to escape an unwanted situation. (The observant male will have noted similar tactics in real life (or SHOULD have if he keeps his eyes open.)
or
C Shadow has succumbed to a sudden and fatal illness which the omniscient and omnipotent Author (Brandon) has not yet shared with his devoted readers (also very unlikely because the comic perforce ends here with the death of a major character)
Authors tend NOT to do that in the main although Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle and Sherlock Holmes at the Reichenbach Falls is a notable exception.
Is Brandon seeing himself equivalent to Sir Arthur?

That was intended to be the end of the series. He only continued it in response to fan outrage…
So–not an exception.
Sir Arhur’s intention was to end the whole series by klling the hero, yes.
That MAKES him the exception to the general rule that authors do not kill their heroes.
That was the premise I postulated.
The fan outrage didn’t change his original intent, only the subsequent outcome (he wrote more stories).
Hopefully there is a captain Jack Sparrow around to save the lady, though I do not see any water for her to fall into
Yeah… Shadow is clearly a full on young woman.. gone is the girl… what a rack! I’m sure Terminus agrees her dress looks better on the floor… by his bed!

Anyway, it is fun. I hope Midnight will just storm there like stumbling on Terminus making them fall miserably and giving a laughter to everyone else… Would it be nice?

So if it’s not more of the Engagenent Party, then we might be seeing The Adventures of Tim as he realises what a dick he was to Shadow and recruits the rest of the Family (Lady Blackheart {Ruth} and Tom, for a rescue mission – [but how does he learn Shadow NEEDS rescuing?] or maybe it’s the continuation of the Saga of Marcy who attacks Nox with squirt bottles of pink and blue hair dye!!!!!!!!! (That’ll cause CHAOS)
