That’s really bold for Shadow to call the High Mother Mom. Welp, like she said in the past, she doesn’t know her parents. Noxians view of nudity is really different compared to human society.
Real talk though, is this gonna be one of those stories where Shadow will be forced into a marriage (union) and the rest of the comic is gonna be a ‘will they won’t they’ kind of scenario with Tim and her before they decide to finally get together? Because those stories are always annoying on tv and have turned me off of drama shows for the most part. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good show where the main characters end up together in the end (i.e. Avatar, and…other shows that I can’t think of right now. Basically, the shows that don’t focus on the romantic drama) just fine, I simply find the stories where the two main characters are forever kept apart so that the creators can milk the drama to be boring at best and infuriating at worst. Each season finale, the two main characters confront their feelings and are about to announce their love for one another only for something else to get in the way: another love interest enters the scene, a misinterpreted event where one of the two sees the other in a compromising situation only for the witness to flee in a fit of anger/jealousy before the other MC is able to explain (usually with some sad music playing in the background and the “third party” smirking/cackling maniacally in the background that their plan had succeeded at screwing over the main character’s chances of being together). It just makes me so…”rant-y”, ya know? Although, this could just be because I’ve never been given the opportunity to be in a relationship before (as much as I’d love to be in one, I’m just too ugly and undesirable :p). Maybe relationships are supposed to play out like they do in dramas and I’m just missing out and don’t know what I’m talking about

I have to admit, something tells me that Shadow’s instinct may have something to with that pass out scene.
With 92 pages so far, Chapter 4 is only a couple pages away from reaching it’s 100th page. Wonder if there are any big plans for that particular page?
It’s maybe MORE important that Brandon stays healthy in order to draw Page 242 – not so much Page 249.

I’m wondering if Shadow will share with her mistress about meeting Tim’s mom and his existance as a hybrid.
According to #91 Moonlight already knows about Shadow and Blackheart being keep in touch. It’d be interesting to find out though, if Moonie aware of her sister’s human life or thinks she is hiding somewhere in seems-to-be-endless Nox?
Moonie has no idea where her sister is, only that she is in hiding, and that she is looking after Shadow as well.
It seems like quite a distanced “looking after”.
Nox adoptive or substitute ‘parents” do not seem prone to the “Helicopter Parenting Syndrome”.
