why do I have the feeling that Tim is gonna get kidnapped to Nox, and his mom will have to go there, and reveal that she’s not missing, and save him
So, I imagine this thing will just run on and on for years to come, becoming more and more boring with each new story arch. Really, you should have ended this thing when Shadow beat the hell out of the Halloween bully. That would have been a great conclusion. But, no! You’re like a really old Rock band that’s decades beyond it’s relevance still doing tours. It’s just really sad.
Sure, you are totally free to believe whatever you want. I mean, you’re wrong, but when has that ever stopped a random commenter on the internet.
Haters gotta hate, otherwise there’s no reason for them to exist.
I know. It doesn’t really bother me. I’ve been pretty damn lucky not to have too many around. It’s one reason I’m glad I’m not a HUGE comic or anything. It tends to attract more attention from all sorts.

I for know how this story ends because i tracked down it’s original format. We’re overall still in what could be labelled as part 1.

Having read many books, I have discovered that the original draft often fails to make the final cut.
If you don’t like it, why are you here? I doubt you are being forced to read this, or listen to old rock bands.
If you have a better idea for a web comic, off you go and draw it. Post a link, we might even visit.
It is difficult to see any positive merit in your comment. As a counter I can see several possible long arc story lines. We have barely finished introducing the characters.

How insightful. Since you have such keen insights into such things, you should write your own story, draw your own comic, and maintain your own website.

In my experience, the most critical people are utter wastes of skin.
Personally I don’t mind how much skin any of them waste, it’s the OXYGEN they waste that *I* resent, because *I* have to use oxygen.

Why does Shadow have to do it? Lady Moonlight asked for volunteers and specifically said nobody will be forced to do it.
She doesn’t. Nobody has said she has to.
She should probably for sure tell him though.
Or, Shadow might delegate the task to High Mother Moon with all the unstated authority of her position to tell Terminus that he’s yodelling up the wrong canyon, that he’s barred from a two mile radius of Shadow’ presemceand that off-world enforers (Tom & Tim) have been alerted to his unwelcome attentions.

Brandon I know doing the artwork and everything takes a long time. (Artwork is amazing BTW)
You ever think of just doing a plain text version until the art work gets done though? Like release a large amount of the future story as just plain text. and then make the comics as you go along? That way readers can keep reading the story for a long while. instead of a few lines once every 2-3 weeks?
Hah, no no no. People will just read ahead and complain about that when they run out, just like now, and some of them might even start to complain even MORE once they see upcoming plotlines and how long it’s gonna take to get to them with artwork.

Currently waiting on another comic to release about 30+ pages at once. been almost a month. In meantime been reading the actual story that was out of it. But shit happens I guess. ^.^

Tbh still hoping that that guy would fall off the antagonist horse midway through and just goes to jail for megolomaniac teens for accidental murder and threats to his “father” and gets back into a changed society a few years later.
Wow, I sped through this entire comic in one day(probably a bad idea) but I love the story, and I’m excited to see it pan out, a lot of the things I consider predictable for this kind of stuff was put on its head in a slight way, great job!
Interesting page if I may. High Mother is trying to figure how to counter Terminus. I just hope the refusal of Shadow will be enacted and some investigation will start about the murder of High Father. I would not be surprised if, in reality Ruth and the High Mother would be friends and High Mother would use her to make some hide and seek with Terminus to find out all the details of his schemes.

I remembered the page they were speaking. Well we do not know if it is used with blood sisters or if it means they are of equal terms like belonging to the same community. That was why I said friends, it does not necessarily means they are relative.
They are actual sisters. Their blood relationship has been confirmed by Brandon.
New reader here, I totally fell in love with the comic. I remember being 14-15 and reading similar, long-ass ongoing stories (and comics) everyday and I think this one might become a gate to coming back to this sorta routine for me. Honestly thank you man, I didn’t know I missed it this much and yet here I am, reading the last (at the moment) page of the comic and being hyped tf up for what’s coming next. I spent a few hours on catching up but it was well worth it. Sorry for my English just in case I made a few mistakes here and there, Polish fan here.

“New” reader here. The apstrophes are due to the fact, I saw this comic ages ago, but lost the link(or forgot to bookmark; no uncommon for me…)
Nice to “rediscover” the story and how it developed. =)
I don’t mind if the story still goes down the path of shadow being forced to be with terminus, that’s still a good story, but, Shadow still hasn’t answered terminus’s proposal, and she didn’t volunteer either, also, nightmare, (I think that’s was the red ones name) will probably have a “few words” with terminus, or even expose the 2 murders…, but either way, I’m not the one writing the story, so whatever path this goes down will be great, especially because we know shadow still ends up with Tim in the end, but knowing all this information probably wouldn’t have the most compelling story if Shadow straight up refused, so, yeah,
Shadow can still say no, she was both asked if she accepted the proposal, and didn’t even volunteer as tribute, and nightmare also is probably really pissed, and probably more than willing to “explain a few murders”, though though this is just my realization, I’m sure no matter where the story goes it will still be good, especially because we know shadow still ends up with Tim. Also, this ending probably wouldn’t be the most climactic ending, an ending where, like, Tim goes to Nox and fights terminus would be a lot cooler than her just saying no,
