Honestly I just hope Marcy wll simply give Tim a strong lecture with force on how to be gentler than the sea with Shadow. I am even sure Marcy and Shadow could be good friends in fact. I state that Marcy’s personality be far more protective with her friends and family that what she usually looks like.
I totally agree with seeing Marcy being cool with Shadow once they get to know each other. Tim rn is just sort of showing off how much of a kid he still is.
So you think that it’s a good idea for Marcy (who doesn’t know Shadow and has never observed any interaction between Shadow and Tim) to start lecturing Tim on his behaviour towards an unknown person.
Which of Tim’s behaviours towards Shadow, that Marcy (NOT the readers of Brandon’s comic) has inferred or deduced (since she hasn’t observed any) should Tim change?
Tim isn’t a custard to be moulded – he has his own opinon (see Page 171). Should he surrender his opinion in order to curry favour with Shadow and start saying “Yes,dear” to everything? (This is how he would lose self-respect.)
Well I think it is not about not knowing Shadow for Marcy. Marcy only knows two things about Shadow. One, she is a girl, a kind of monster girl but a girl and she seems very concerned on how men behave towards women. And second, she is a very long friend of Tim. And the facts that Marcy really seems to be extremely protective about people she cares and about relationships between men and women in this comics made me write what I did about one week ago. Of course Marcy cannot speak about the relationship between Shadow and Tim considering she never met Shadow. Second, the fact that Tim and Shadow had a fight last night, in my opinion, shold have been kind of trigger for Marcy… At least in the way I understand her personality.
Just found this comic a couple days ago, and I’m on my third read through. The suspense is just killing me. Not just whether Shadow shows up (I don’t think she will; not just the fight, but also everything that happened with Terminus, but even if so, how will Marcy handle being stood-up so to speak), but also whether Ruth will finally have “The Talk” (and if so, also how will Tim explain that he brought people by to see Shadow, whether she shows up or not). Plus whatever’s next in Terminus’ machinations (My guess, he needs a hybrid for some reason, which is why I’m guessing he and Nightmare were the “Doctors” responsible for the attack on Anna, and why he wants Shadow, to get to Tim, but is this where we finally see how Tim gets that claw scar? I’m guessing so). So many questions I can’t wait to see answered.
Both excited and anxious to see Shadow’s reaction when/if she arrives.

liclic claimed “….Marcy really seems to be extremely protective about people she cares and about relationships between men and women ….”
Which of Marcy’s speeches gave you that opinion?
Please feel free to refer to page mumber(s).
Nobody has to justify themselves to you. We know you just hate Marcy. We get it, man!
I absolutely love this comic. Everything from the characters, to the story. It’s great.
can’t wait for the next page

Hehe!
And, y’know, all these questions will now disturb your resting hours until Brandon deigns to provide answers.
If he ever does.
