It’s a manga trope. In those it would also be the Japanese characters for “sparkle”… like drawing speed-lines behind a running character and going “whoosh”
Marcy: “You’d BETTER hope’….”
or what? You’ll leave? Don’t let the door etc.
Threatening without agency just exposes yourself to inwanted adverse consequences, Marcy.
YOU invited yourself, you wanted to be here. If you don’t want to be here any longer, goodbye.
Nobody will miss you.
She’ll call the cops on Tim for leaving scissors in her room after sneaking in there if Tim doesn’t prove Shadow is real, also he invited her himself, if you will recall.
I have little knowledge of law enforcement procedures but I suspect that the delay in reporting any offence, taken together with the source (emotionally agitated teenage girl) wou;d tend to assign a low priority to investigation.
Well Tim can also state that it is Marcy who stole his scissors and place them in her room. Second, because Marcy took the scissors, she has let her fingerprints on it so the proof just falls and even Tim can sue her for having stolen the scissors !
No, but she does want something from Tim really bad. Not sure if she will need it to happen tonight or not.
The more real world time that passes, the less I remember from text version. Plus there have been changes. I don’t think Marcy even existed in that version. I can’t find the name at least.
I’m not so sure.
From the look of the way Tim’s handling that slice of pizza, there’ll be enough dropped, dead and dying pizza topping under and around his bed, together with the aroma of old boys’ socks that attracted Shadow in the FIRST place (and the others that I hesitate to describe here) that I suspect Shadow is used to the whole wall of scents that Timmy’s bedroom presents.
Would the new scent of Craig and the perfume that Marcy has used overwhelm the usual miasma?
The scent of Marcy in Timmy’s room will be the kicker. Shadow will come out from under the bed loaded for bear. There will be blood, bodyparts strewn about and enough gore to do justice to a Jason Voorhees’ flick. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/mckAAOSwrklU9Kvo/s-l300.jpg
….so Shadow will ignore the scent and presence of Craig the Bully whom she ALREADY confronted, flattened and threatened at the Hallowe’en event?
I doubt he’s getting away scatheless from any conflict.
As far as Shadow would be concerned the very presence of Marcy in Tim’s room means “it’s on!”. Likely Craig the Bully will be collateral damage. He may even become a convenient object for her to throw at Marcy. We’re talking Ultimate Catfight!
I just had the image of Shadow, hanging on to one of Craig’s ankles and whirling him around like a nunchaku!
That raises the question of her (and Noxian generally) upper body strength.
We’ve seen that Shadow has the attitude but does she have the sheer strength??
Honestly when Tim told that he and Shadow had a fight last night in the story, I expected Marcy to give a lecture to Tim in order to be more gentle to girl, and to Shadow especially.
Thanks, I was having withdrawals. Normally, the timeline does not bother me. However, for this days occurrences I will keep a very open mind. Just getting into that dress would have taken my lady several hours.
Tim is 1000% in the wrong here and is breaking Shadow’s trust. I will not blame Shadow for becoming extremely angry with him after this incident as he didn’t have the right to reveal Shadow to anyone and even swore to keep her secret.
First! Also, any particular reason Tim’s blushing?
Really hoping all goes well during Tim and Shadow’s reunion… key word being “hopefully.”🤞🤞
Also, what’s with those… “lights” on the last panel?

Enthusiasm.
Newtype/Battlesence 😛
Pretty Blonde with huge knockers in sight?!? I don’t know… maybe?

So what if she does? No sane cop would believe her. We already talked about that.

Shadow will open the hatch under the bed, smell everyone else there and not come in.

She did not… nor did Craig.
Right, I remember that the Halloween bit was one sentence.
I wouldn’t rely too heavily on the text version. A lot is different now. I barely refer to it myself.
I’m not so sure.

And your comment about how Shadow might use Craig reminded me of the scene in the Avengers movie where Hulk rag-dolls Loki in Stark’s condo.

“That’s the way to do it!” says Mr. Punch.
Honestly when Tim told that he and Shadow had a fight last night in the story, I expected Marcy to give a lecture to Tim in order to be more gentle to girl, and to Shadow especially.
I dunno. Her end of things is getting pretty complicated, too.
Why do I have the feeling that she’s not comming unless last resort?
Thanks, I was having withdrawals. Normally, the timeline does not bother me. However, for this days occurrences I will keep a very open mind. Just getting into that dress would have taken my lady several hours.
Because of interference from the sidelines?

And now we got the bishie sparkles. I’m guessing Tim is already… “over” that fight. Even if he doesn’t realize it yet.
This comic reminds me, I need to make pizza this week.
Pizza!
Will shadow even be showing up?
Anyone else feel like Tim’s in denial about how bad his fight with Shadow was?
No.
Anyone else feel like Shadow’s gonna show up and feel betrayed by Tim having his friends over to show her existence?
No.
I feel if Shadow feels betrayed by Tim for having these two over, she won’t show up while they’re there.
That said, I think we’ve seen that she’s otherwise busy, so she’s not going to be able to show up.
Yeah, she’s not coming, Tim. You’re fucked.
Well, not this night, anyway!
