Tim’s reaction is the really interesting part of this page. He’s face-palming, but at who? The dynamic duo? Maybe, but he knew what they were going to do, why would he facepalm now?
No, I think he’s facepalming at Shadow’s typically over-the-top reaction. I mean, if she does attack any of them, that will end her friendship with Tim permanently, so she’s obviously not thinking things through.
Shadow has already been attacked by Marcy and Craig.
Any actions Shadow takes after that event are arguably self-defence.
Self-defence isn’t over reaction. Clawing their faces (or Marcy’s dangly tits) may be excessive for a teenage prank, (only a judge is qualified to assess that) but since she had a history of defending against a Halloween assault by Craig, that would be a defence.
My take on the situation is that Tim is facepalming to the Idiot Duo for pulling off a lame-brained stunt with the bedsheet. Granted, last strip he said that the pizza “certainly can’t hurt” to “soften (Shadow) up”, but I suspect that “what’s about to go down” was the reveal that Marcy and Craig know that she exists… and are waiting to say, “G’day!”… just… not in the way they are doing it…
A short page, but I like it, the first panel especially. We see so much of Noxians being similar to humans, emotionally and culturally, it’s refreshing to get a reminder that they *aren’t* human.
They have sharp teeth. They have strong claws. They have stronger animal instincts. And they are probably a bit stronger than humans, too.
Well we know he gets a scar somewhere along the way. Maybe from her or maybe from someone else. My money is on someone else but who knows. This whole teen angst arc is cringe but in a good designed and purposeful way. We know where this ends up but the how we get there is still fantastic. That is a rare feat for a writer / creator to pull off. Kudo’s to the creator.

“drat! I’ve been foiled by the most devious of inventions, the bedsheet!”
Well it is well known that the bedsheet is highly effective armor against monsters from under the bed.
Only outweighed in efficiency by the pillow clutched firmly around the ears. (If you can’t see them, or hear them then thy’re not really there!)
She invented the move and yet she gets caught by it anyway. Oof.
That was your plan, Ray? “Get her!?”
Get her?
GET HER??!
*facepalms*
“Get her?”
Pretty-sure that Dan Aykroyd invented that move, back in the first “Ghostbusters”-film…
…as I recall, it didn’t end well then, either.
Ah, but the Ghostbusters didn’t have a blanket. The blanket is key to the “get her” plan.
I think Craig only wanted to get a good grope!
I think Tim ‘got her’ in the first chapter prologue! ‘snicker’ Bedsheets included!
All I can say is.. DAMN Look at those Knockers on MARCY!
Not half as nice as Tim’s mom……

….”the idiot Duo”….” good characterisation!

noooooooo poor shadow :,c i feel bad for her, i wonder how would she react to that

Alright, time to explain everything…hopefully.
Welp, shadow’s friggin’ pissed af.
Well Tim, it was nice knowing ya.😂🤣
I wonder how Tim could possibly have thought that this was a good idea
In his defense, the other two wouldn’t get off his back about the issue.
So? He doesn’t owe jackasses details about his, or especially, someone ELSE’S life.
