Hmm, that’s a little too calm and affectionate for this situation, would have expected her to say something more like “Well not right now!” Unless, of course, that last line is just misdirection and at the beginning of the next strip she’s gonna say something else to reverse it.
Hey, she’s not bad looking at all. Nothing wrong with a polygamous relationship. Something for the fanfic writers to think about. On that note, this series has a few things for them to think about
If I had been Shadow my reply would have been something like:
Do I trust you after this ambush? No, not at all. Please come closer so I can cause severe bodily harm to you.
If I had to guess, I’d say he is introducing them to her to clear up the scissor incident, and make peace. He can’t very well explain it away without coming clean. Plus if they’re going to be together, he can’t exactly hide her away forever. He tried to keep the secret from Marcy, and that only made her think he was available, just shy.
If she hadn’t been panicked, Shadow would have better off retrieving the scissors, quickly. A mysterious girl coming out from your bed? You must be mad. A concrete pair of scissors? Someone put them there.
He’s going to point out it’s less than needed to stop the merry rampage for long enough to hear him out and take half a minute to think about it.
The entire point is that Tim has no idea of exactly how mad she is, isn’t or can be. Consider: the last time he did see Shadow, she stormed out in rage… and after that, the news about his scissors.
Given that that Brandon has said before this is a hobby and he has no intention to pursue this professionally, a published book seems unlikely. Not impossible, but unlikely
Right about now I expect Tim’s Mom to step in and nonchalantly blow everyone’s boats out of the water. Mom will stick her head in and ask about why everyone is so noisy and drop quite “innocently” the bombshell that she knows about Shadow. And the crap will impact the high velocity rotating device at Warp Level 10.
don’t forget about the reason why marcy is at tim’s house, because she has a bone to pick with shadow for breaking into her room and trying to cut marcy’s hair.
The pivotal scene in “The Taming of the Shrew” is when Hortensio tells Kate to play along, and she realizes what’s actually going on. Then she conspires with Petrucchio and they win the bet (as well as each other). I can see this story being a loose variation on that theme (for some loose values of loose). The two best performances I witnessed were the RSC’s traveling performance in San Francisco and the BBC production with John Cleese as Petrucchio.

Well there is that little emphasis on “YOU”. She trusts HIM, but he feelings for those other two… far far less trusting.
This is somehow getting closer to becoming a foursome.
It is at times like this that makes me wish there was a like button
Marcy… tfw you realize you don’t stand a chance!

Tim is a very fortunate boy.
just kiss already you two youre too adorable
AWEEE! How SWEET!!! 🙂
Note the bold italics on “you”. Shadow trusts Tim. She is specifically excluding the peanut gallery. I expect snark in the next panel. 🙂

Probably a good thing I´m not Shadow
He would deserve it.
… he’s lucky I’m not Shadow either.
Craig and Marcy might need to take a few steps back once they get off of her. As for Tim, well I’m just curious about where he’s going with all this.

Yeah that sounds likely. I just hope Shadow is willing to listen.

I really hope this is turned into a printed book one day. This would look awesome on glossy paper.

I’ve given all she’s got captain! Any more, and the whole thing’ll blow!
To be honest I’m surprised she hasn’t yet, especially after his reaction to shadow saying he isn’t normal.

That’s the end point. Before shadow showed up, Tim was suspected of breaking and entering.

Hoo, they’re flirting…
