And not to many would notice, or even be so rude as to point it out. 😉 I was going to say that maybe Jimmy needs to man-up and stand up for his girl. No matter how aggrieved the other two may feel, they really have no right doing what they’re doing.
Myk Streja: I was going to say that maybe Jimmy needs to man-up and stand up for his girl.
Shadow: *GRRRRRRRRRR…* His name is Timmy, not Jimmy! Get it right! You sound like an idiot when you say it wrong!
Step One: Remove sharp objects from crazy, excited female (if you dare!)
Step Two: Talk in a rational voice with a soothing tone (unless you have already been stabbed.)
Steo Three: Offer warm pizza.
No, beause if you’ve already been stabbed, the time for ANY talking is well past.
That is the time for rapid action, maybe violent, maybe not, depending on other circumstances.
Step 3 may not even be applicable then.

Growl and writhe around tangled up in a blanket without answering directly!
Sure, but that doean’t mean intent doesn’t matter. Plus, Shadow still stole those scissors and went into Marcy’s room without permission so she’s guilty of something.
I would argue that Shadow being the cause of this whole situation is just as relevant. I.E Shadow stealing those scissors, breaking and entering into Marcy’s home, and trying to use said scissors to cut Marcy’s hair while she slept (which if I’m not mistaken is a form of assault or battery on someone’s person).
Reply to Tomokatu: Except she IS guilty of breaking into a person’s house without permission and stealing someone’s belongings. Those are two serios things that she is 100% guilty of actually doing and can be convicted in court in a real setting for. As for the attempted hair cutting thing, that was the WHOLE reason she did the other two things in the first place. So you’re telling me that that wouldn’t be relevant to why she’s currently being interrogated by the girl who Shadow had tried to use those scissors on? C’mon what am I missing here??? I’m sure ATTEMPTED battery would still be considered a crime btw. She was GOING to cut that girl’s hair against her will for a petty reason and that’s really what the point of this is.
Judging by the display of Shadow’s fangs and the high, red growling sounds Brandon has gifted us readers in the last panel, that situation may be about to be changed!
…and it’s about time that Shadow stood up for herself, since it’s apparent Timmy won’t.
No, I saw you as an annoying cat begging for attention with giant stressballs tied to the front. I just wanted to give you a haircut so you would avoid socializing for a bit.
Thank you.
You’re welcome!
Hopefully Tim stops both Marcy and Shadow from doing anything to rash.
Rash or Slash. Cuz one has scissors, and the other is sweet with claws. Slashy Taffy mmm.
Meant to say “too rash”, since Marcy has scissors pointed at Shadow’s face and Shadow is pretty angry with her current situation.

At least, that’s what Shadow would prolly say. Most likely.
Step One: Remove sharp objects from crazy, excited female (if you dare!)
Step Two: Talk in a rational voice with a soothing tone (unless you have already been stabbed.)
Steo Three: Offer warm pizza.
Slight complication: One of these girls has sharp objects permanently attached to her.
I think Step 2 applies whether you’ve already been stabbed or not. Likewise Step 3. @zero makes the best point about Step 1, tho. 🙂

This is a masterpiece
New plan: blame it all on Nightmare.
Oh teah! The action of a true friend.
Not Midnight, Nightmare. The red one.
Correcton noted
My error.

Excellent summation.
Nice to see Shadow finally get confronted about what she did before.
You mean what she was going to do … but didn’t?
I mean yeah. Intent matters.
But action trumps intent every time.
Sure, but that doean’t mean intent doesn’t matter. Plus, Shadow still stole those scissors and went into Marcy’s room without permission so she’s guilty of something.
Nothing worth assault, unlawful restraint and/or threatening with a deadly weapon.
Touche. But this was going to happen eventually.
And it wouldn’t be happening right now if Shadow didn’t steal the scissors.
Might as well then, blame Eve for accepting an apple from the serpent.
The assault (et cetera) were a more immediate cause and therefore more relevant..
I would argue that Shadow being the cause of this whole situation is just as relevant. Reply to Lucs:
It would have been, except that Shadow DID’NT actually DO it!
No court (in the real world) would covict anybody for the intent to commit an offence that atually wasn’t carried out.

This romance be the best thanks for all the years you put into this it really warms my heart.
No!!!! ;-;
Is it just me or does she look like a cat in a blanket
It’s not polite to point.
Marcy doesn’t seem like she’s in the mood to be polite.
Perhaps, but the territory is Tim’s.
We’ll see if he minds.
He seems quite ok with his girlfriend being attacked …
So far anyway. But he probably just wants to keep her still so he can talk to her.
Marcy seems to be in quite suicidal mood. Puting sharp blade so close to someone’s eyes is obvious attack. She’s lucky her intestines are still in.
Judging by the display of Shadow’s fangs and the high, red growling sounds Brandon has gifted us readers in the last panel, that situation may be about to be changed!

It’s a mostly-rhetorical question. The only variable in response is amount of sass, indeed.
Marcy is asking questions, wonder if Shadow will answer them?
Eh Shadows in no danger. Tim would shove his hand on the blade before he’d let her get hurt.
