Is the subjunctive mood more appropriate: “Even if I were a queen…”?
Or even “Were I a queen….” is more concise ans formal.
I’m not sure if a Nox should be confusing horror/terror and mere emotional stress like that…
Or is it all the same for Noxians? Do Noxians not care about what kind of fear you’re experiencing as long as your feeling unwell? Would they tell me I got an F in a test if that would frighten me?
If so, I think I liked “I’m gonna eat you if you’re not careful” Shadow more than “I’m needlessly toying with the feelings of the guy who likes me” Shadow…

It’s exactly the same on her side. Tim just doesn’t see many, many fine sharp fangs as too distracting (let alone very scary) anymore.
Yeah, but to resort to “I’m gonna leave you- ha, joking!” just to get a cheap thrill out of him seems a bit… well, cheap.
If she’d kept it going for longer than a few seconds than I’d agree with you, but as it was I think it was harmless enough.
Or rather, like a low blow.
Nah, she was just lightly ribbing Tim and was Quick to correct him that he had nothing to fear as she’s claimed his heart for her own. Its not horror fear she’s luxuriating in but the swell of his fear of loosing her. Another way to look at it is that fear and love pull on similar tangentially related emotional strings.
And then Tim and Shadow consume their love and spend the night together. It would be a nice match with the original story if so. Welp, we’ll have to wait and see what they’ll do in the future.
Question for Brandon. I can’t remember if it was stated or asked yet, been too long. Is the stuff in chapter 01, #29-#31 post main story or just much later in the main timeline? (or potentially in between, in the context of the original stories two arcs… if it is indeed going to go anywhere close to the same way.. in structure I mean)
Tim’s going to let his inner noxen out if Shadow keeps toying with him like. Hope they’re booth prepared for that wild ride.
Next up, the truth about Tim’s mother. Wonder how his parents met . . . ‘your dad is simply fearless, nothing I did scared him, after a while I realised I didn’t want to anymore . . .”
More likely, a thrill seeker with good sense of humor.
Or just a fan of horror, so he didn’t take whatever scare she made very seriously and after the second began to give advice.
I am glad Shadow does not want to marry Terminus. However, I still hope that Tim will be the one to take Shadow’s virginity. I also wonder if the “bonding” that Terminus referred to requires one to lose their virginity. If so, I hope Tim and Shadow have sex soon. Time is of the essence for many elements in this story, after all. These elements include stopping Terminus from opening the door and stopping the organization that kidnapped Anna from accomplishing whatever it is they are trying to accomplish.
I don’t know about the bonding, but earlier in the comic Midnight said that Shadow ‘saving herself’ was a very human thing to do. That makes me think that as a rule Noxians are generally pretty sexually open.
I’m wondering if maybe Tim and Shadow are supposed to open the door.
Yeah, I’m with you on that. I hope they are each other’s first. I really hope the story doesn’t take on THAT kind of drama.. I stopped paying attention to Korean series because of just that type of drama obsession.

I wonder suddenly if Noxians are warmer or cooler to the touch for human normal body temperature. They have clearly mammary glands so nurse their young meaning mammals and thus warm-blooded but is there a noticeable difference in room temperature body heat?
Just wondering how enjoyable embracing one is…? What does their skin smell like? Do they have a scent as a species that is noticeable to humans? Apparently their pheromones do work on humans…

Scaring him like that is going to be a mistake that comes back to haunt her.
Is there sports in Shadow’s home such as boxing or some sorta noxian gladiator fights?
I wonder if Tim has a Noxian form of his own…
