This comic is based on a ‘short’ story I wrote about 3 years ago. Some people have already read it and it’s still floating around out there.
I don’t like to point out it’s location though, due to spoilers.
Now that we got the girl’s name, you might want to toss up both a character page and a F.A.Q. page, so you don’t have to keep repeating yourself about the original version of the story.
I’ll probably always have to do that anyway… this IS the internet after all. XD

Maybe I’m just reading to much into it, but could it be that Shadow is not looking at Tim in the fourth panel because she is already reluctant to leave him and doesn’t want to make it more difficult to herself than she already has it? Or at least something along those lines?
Also: I love Tim’s expressions in panel five and six XD
Something like that, yes. Although I tried to make it apparent that she has a big wicked grin on her face while she is looking away too.
Wasn’t sure about the grin… I thought it might be something like this, but because you can’t see much of it with the perspective as it is and also because my computerdisplay is realy small… it’s hard to see, at least for me XD Could have also been a distressed facial expression because she’s late and worried that she might be in serius trouble…
But if that’s not the case, that’s all the better… wicked grin ftw XD

Depends on the severity of how compromised you are. She gets very compromised as it goes on.

There’s one under EVERY bed (with an opening, anyway) so one might be hard-pressed to risk it. Besides, it only opens when she needs to pass through.
Huh what about bunk beds? Two portals?
Ohhh… now we’re applying logic to this! XD Alright then. There’d only be the one portal between the bed and the floor. Of course, it depends on the model and make of the bunk bed.
A little known fact is that she’s actually passing through the floor, dropping downwards into a portal which starts at the edge of the shadows under the bed.

She’d just rip through the mattress and get you from below! Why do you think they evolved those sharp fingers? Lol
Then I would pull her up, tell her it’s so nice to see her, give her a hug and a nice shoulder massage and ask if there is anything else I could do to make her feel comfortable 😀
You might not get so lucky as Tim! There are others who might not be as hesitant as Shadow in their proper Monster behaviour!
